How Many Stones Have Fallen Since?

by James C. Stephens

October 23, 1997

In deep pain

wounded, slowly bleeding

fighting an invisible foe,

wounded by brothers

Crying out

no one answers.

Does anyone understand?

Only One.

I look to the mountains

and heal in the quietness.

Remember there is life.

Tired of replaying other’s tapes

facing blind institutions

in at nine out at five.

Remembering Beggar crying in the street in Kathmandu

daughter of Nepal being stoned by brother

we interfere for a moment staying his hand

how many stones have fallen since?

Remote village in rain, frightened child

screaming in the night

Still pond, fog rolls in, prisoners awake before dawn

Crying out in silence

no one answers.

Does anyone understand?

Solitary confinement til death

Knowing sin, knowing grace

Letters wondering

is anyone there?

Praying the Hours

The Third Hour of the Day

9:00 AM

william-law-quote-about-prayer-life

Subject of the Third Hour of the Day Devotion: Humility

“Humility does not consist in having a worse opinion of ourselves than we deserve, or in abasing ourselves lower than we really are; but as all virtue is founded in truth, so humility is founded in a true and just sense of our weakness, misery, and sin. He that rightly feels and lives in this sense of his condition, lives in humility.”

~Excerpt taken from A Serious Call to a Devout and Holy Life by William Law.

“Open thou mine eyes, that I may behold wondrous things out of thy law.” ~Psalm 119:18

“In order to keep God’s word, must we not pray to understand it? What then is prayer? Not—give me a plainer Bible—but open mine eyes to know my Bible. Not—show me some new revelations beside the law—but make me behold the wonders of the law. David had acquired in the Divine school “more understanding than all his teachers” (Verses 99,100); yet he ever comes to his God under a deep sense of his blindness. Indeed those who have been best and longest taught, are always the most ready to “sit  at the feet of Jesus” (Luke, x. 39), as if they had everything to learn.”

“But do not even Christians often find the word of God to be as a sealed book? They go through their accustomed portion, without gaining any increasing acquaintance with its light, life, and power, and without any distinct application of its contents to their hearts. And thus it must be, whenever reading has been unaccompanied with prayer for Divine influence. For we not only need to have our “eyes opened to behold” fresh wonders, but also to give a more spiritual and transforming (2 Cor.iii.18) perception of those wonders, which we have already beheld.”

~Excerpt from An Exposition of Psalm 119 by Charles Bridges,  republished by The Banner of Truth Trust, 1995. First published in 1827.

RED ALERT_Day Eleven_ ‘Groundwork’

NOTE: I was just re-reading this blog that I’d posted back in 2011 about the need to cleanse our homes as I recalled how we had done it when we first came to faith. I think it’s worth noting.

FORTY-DAY GATEKEEPERS INITATIVE FOR TURTLE ISLAND_June 10-July 20, 2011

O Elohim, You have rejected us; You have broken us; You have been displeased;

Turn back to us! Heal its breaches, for it is shaken.

You have let Your people see hardship; You have made us drink the wine of trembling,

You have given a banner to those who fear You, That it might be lifted up

Because of the truth. Selah.~ Tehillim (Psalms) 60:1-4

PRAYER FOR GROUNDWORK IN OUR LIVES

O Elohim clear the ground. Search our hearts. Break up the fallow and hardened ground of our hearts. Our sins are ever before Your face. Our disgrace. Purge our hearts with the fire from on high. Create in us a clean heart O Elohim as only You can. In You we seek refuge. On earth as it is in heaven is our prayer. Be exalted, O Elohim, above the heavens. Pour out Your Spirit of intercession on the saints of Turtle Island. We worship at Your footstool. We are alone without You. We are lost without You. You are our Good Shepard. Tune our ears to Your Voice. The streets do not ring Your praises, the children do not laugh. Cain builds, the people languish.

Put a new song in our heart for You alone have been our refuge, a strong tower in the face of the enemy.  Let us dwell in Your Tent forever, Let us take refuge in the shelter of Your wings. You are our inheritance. We wait expectantly for Your deliverance. We earnestly seek You.  You still the waters, quiet our anxious hearts. You topple nations. You are building Your kingdom. Adonai.  Help us keep our eyes fixed upon You the Author and Finisher of our faith. You hear all the groans of Your creation, Your people. Your judgments are righteous altogether. All are deserved and more. You are long suffering, waiting for Your sons and daughters to walk in understanding and obedience. Blessed are You who gave us Yeshua our High Priest, HOLY, HOLY, HOLY and TRUE, PURE, PERFECTLY RIGHTEOUS, JUST. Be merciful in Your judgments.

Chasten us as sons and daughters so that we don’t do ourselves and our families harm and so that we bring You honor. Help us so we will not be ashamed in the courts of heaven. Help us run the race with diligence and tenacity and honesty. Help us to be quick to forgive and quick to repent when we see the error of our ways. Help us see our sin as You see them. Reorder our interior temple to please You. Give us grace to say no to our secret and vain fantasies, be they pride, lust, greed, avarice, or revenge. Show us the foolishness, danger and vanity of our waywardness. Guide us and chasten us so that we may listen with all our heart, mind, soul, and strength. Help us to speak Your Word with authority, wisdom, and with courage in the gates when the enemy comes in with his idolatry and falsehoods.

Help us to be kind to the poor and underpriviledged, and unloved. Help us to be kind to our spouses, when we feel like we’ve been wronged, or mistreated. Give us understanding, compassionate hearts for them in their needs, physically, spiritually, emotionally, and financially. Help us support one another. Please provide work for those of us who need it. And for those of us who have resources help us to create jobs and steward what knowledge and resources we have for the edification of our family, neighbors and covenant community.

How have we fallen so far, Abba? Where did our fathers and mothers go wrong? Where are those who follow You in sincerity of heart? The humble will inherit the earth. What do we have to be proud of? You commanded us to seek the welfare of the city You called us into exile to. You said, “Dwell in the land and cultivate faithfulness.”  We are weary. Your afflictions have taught us to value what we are losing. You Elohim make a home for the lonely. You brought Your people into a land of milk and honey. You went out before Your people, the earth shook and heavens dropped their manna for Your people. You gave Your people rest.

Today, we have forgotten Your commandments given to us for our good.  We have forgotten Your ways. Priests twist Your Words and make merchandise of your people. A confused generation knows not how to feed themselves.

CLEANSING YOUR HOME.

“Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not accomplish the lust of the flesh. For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh. And these are opposed to each other, so that you do not do what you desire to do. But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under Torah. And the works of the flesh are well-known, which are these: adultery, whoring, uncleanness, indecency, idolatry, drug sorcery, hatred, quarrels, jealousies, fits of rage, selfish ambitions, dissensions, factions, envy, murders, drunkenness, wild parties, and the like—of which I forewarn you, even as I also said before, that those who practice such as these shall not inherit the reign of Elohim.

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, trust-worthiness, gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no Torah. And those who are of Messiah have impaled the flesh with its passions and the desires.

If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.”

Galatians 5:16-25

“Therefore, having put off the false, speak truth, each one to his neighbor, for we are member of one another. Be wroth (angry), but do not sin. Do not let the sun go down on your rage, nor give place to the devil.” Ephesians 4:25-27.

After we had been walking with Master Yeshua (LORD Jesus) for one year, our eldest son who was about four at the time, saw a demon in our apartment in Santa Monica. He was not given to exaggeration, so we believed him. We had just come home from church one Sunday morning, when he saw a huge being with wings and ugly claws in the hallway. That night he called out from the room that it was speaking to him through the wall. We were totally unprepared for dealing with this type of supernatural experience.

So we called the church the next morning and it seemed that no one had had experience with this phenomenae. Finally, we were put in contact with Darrell Platt, a missionary who’d worked in Haiti and had first hand experience addressing demon possession and the supernatural phenomenae that surrounded those who had practiced vodooism and witchcraft. He knew what we were saying was real.

After Darrell had got a picture of our former spiritual background as practicing Buddhists, he began to ask us further questions.

1)      Do you have any of your former religious paraphanalia in your home?

2)      Did you take any vows? Make any covenants as Buddhists?

3)      Have you dedicated your children to the LORD Jesus?

He shared one particular experience with us about his work in Haiti. He said, ‘One Sunday morning while I was walking to church and passing a house of one of the new converts, the wife came running out in total fear. When she had calmed down enough to tell me what had happened, she told me that there was a “spiritual explosion in the corner of their living room.”

He asked, “What did you keep in that corner?”

She replied, “We keep our old voodoo dolls to show people what we used to be into.”

In his wry smile, he said, “No wonder! You’re supposed to cleanse your house.’

The fact is we’re new creatures in Christ. The old has passed away. Having old idols around gives room for demons to return. If someone leaves their wallet at your house, they’re certainly going to return for it.

As we thought about Darrell’s counsel, we began looking around the house for items that fit his description. By the time we were done, we’d collected enough from our combined thirty years practice of Buddhism to fill half the back of a pick-up truck. Initially upon our conversion, we’d gotten rid of our butsudon, our Buddhist altar and all the paraphernalia that we used, incense burner, candle sticks, bells, water and fruit offering dishes, etc. Our altar had been valued at $7500. It was about six feet tall, a three door model, and had intricately carved scenes of cherry blossoms, dragons, etc. made out of very exotic woods.. We immediately had carted that off to Morning Sun, the Buddhist altar store in Santa Monica the day after we had given our lives to the LORD Jesus Christ. Later Tina Turner, a Buddhist bought it from Archie Akazawa, the store owner whose family had been making Buddhist altars for three hundred years.

What we’d missed was an old altar table we’d repurposed as a stereo cabinet. As we looked further, I remembered a chest in the garage which we had scarves from the high priest, blessed chanting beads, and gofu, which was a special cloth that wiped the chief idol in Japan that was considered a very special medicine for miraculous healing. One other item was a tapa cloth from Hawaii, which I was given and told that it had occultic power and if you cut it there were curses upon it against your family. We also had many books that were occultic in nature. Some were kept around from our childhood days like Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill which openly taught occultic practices such as channeling the dead. We also had an extensive collection of Buddhist and New Age books and a special collection of pornography that we’d been taught to construct in a New Age workshop designed by Actualizations called Sexual Self-Expression. I also got rid of our astrological charts.

All tolled, we roughly had one-half a truck load of materials. The next thing we did was to list all of the vows we’d taken. We’d given our children through a ritual to the Buddha. Much like Baby dedication in Christian circles, with the glaring difference that it wasn’t to YHWH! We also had promised never to taiten, leave the faith. There were so many curses if we did, such as having your head split into seven pieces, etc. We both had special amomori Gohonzons given to pioneers in the Buddhist faith which we hung around our necks. As youth division we used to read the Toda’s Precepts for Youth which vowed to march over the bodies of our taitan members (those who’d defected from the faith). I guess you get the point. We’d done many things in that world.

During the two weeks we cleansed our home, we had demonic visitations and Darrell said we had to take authority over them. He suggested that we read out of Deuteronomy and Leviticus. Whenever my son would have night terrors and awake and hear the demons speaking out of the wall, we would stay up and pray and read out of the Holy Scriptures. Each time we did, he said the voices were quieted and he’d not be bothered. It was our first real taste of spiritual warfare.

Finally, one Sunday after church several elders, missionaries, fellow believers and a pastor came to our home. We then took all the  items outside of our home and put them into the pick-up truck. We then gathered around the dining room table, and Darrell lead us in prayer, and then we renounced and broke all of our previous vows, including those over our children, confessed these as sin and asked the LORD for forgiveness before the elders publically. We then took communion and dedicated our house to the LORD which we commemorated with a framed

“As for me and my house we will serve the LORD.” Joshua 24:15.

After singing hymns, the elders prayed over our family and over the house. Before the gathering, I’d received a call from one of my old Buddhist members who’d heard through the grapevine that we were burning my library. I witnessed to him extensively and talked about where in the Bible in Ephesus, magic practitioners that had come to faith in Jesus Christ, burned what amounted to $5,000,000 of magic books as they renounced their past wicked ways.

He said, “This Christian thing is just a phase. I’ll tell you what, I’ll keep them and when you come to your senses, I’ll give them back to you.”

I said, “I’m no longer a Buddhist, but a follower of Jesus Christ and have no intention of turning back.”

He ended the conversation by adamantly saying, “It’s one thing to say you’re a Christian, but quite another to burn these things!”

Twenty six years have passed since we’d seen each other face to face and in May he attended my sixtieth birthday celebration. And then n June, he invited me to attend a special showing of The Music Man at the Los Angeles Theater which is a grand old theater hall only opened once a year as it’s in need of restoration. When we were out for dinner before the show he told me how the Buddhist sect he still belonged to had gone through a major war wherein the layman’s organization the Soka Gakkai (Japanese Buddhist sect) had been excommunicated by the priests organization Nichiren Shoshu. All seventeen million members were excommunicated, and so the Soka Gakkai ordered  all their members turn in their Gohonzons (Buddhist object of worship) for an official Soka Gakkai replacement and burned them all. Also because of the division of their sect, they ordered all the books burned as they were rewriting their history. The priesthood then demolished the Sho-Hondo (a large Buddhist temple which seated 6,000 members) which had been built for $100,000,000 through the donations of the Soka Gakkai members. It cost $35,000,000 just to demolish. So Book burning is another subject for further discussion. I know it’s been quite controversial of late because of the Pastor burning the Koran. But think here. He had to buy them to burn them. He was doing it out of spite. For us it was out of personal spiritual conviction which is my spiritual right and duty. Look out the iconoclasm of Islam. This is a longer discussion for another time.

Just before leaving to go to the beach, one of my Christian brothers, who by the way was also at my sixtieth party, said, “Shouldn’t you just pray over the books and keep them for research for reaching Buddhists?”

I said, “No. I don’t feel that would be right. If I serve a God who can’t restore my library, then I am serving the wrong God.”

We then left and drove to a beach I’d previously scouted out that had pits you could have a fire in by Los Angeles International Airport. We then burned all our religious books and paraphernalia, prayed and sang some powerful hymns. After that we had no more demonic visitations in our home. That was until we were called into ministry to Buddhists.

By the way, I have had so many books given into my stewardship over the years, I could write a book on how YHWH has honored our simple act of obedience.

One of our dear Tibetan brothers, Stephen Hishey who is now home with the LORD stayed in our home many years later after we’d been involved in ministry for several years. We were under much spiritual attack in our home and he asked, “Have you anointed all your windows and doors?”

I replied, “No. How do you do it?”

He said it was a very simple act of sanctifying your home. All you do is take some anointing oil, like olive oil and prayerfully seal all your windows and doors in the Name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth pleading the protection of the blood of the Lamb over your family and household. He then anointed all the house with oil with crosses. We even did it over our vehicles and prayed over all four corners of our property salting the ground.  We also have placed a Mezuzah on our doorframe.

PRAYERS AND PETITIONS

Are there unclean items in your secret places in your home that you feel shame having?

Even in my own home and work, every book that is brought into my work is individually prayed over. I ask the LORD Jesus Christ, Yeshua to remove all curses from the book, and to bring every thought in the book captive to the Word of God. I also ask that no one would be lead astray by any of the false doctrines that may be in them. Because of my studies, like a doctor, we must be careful to make sure we are not infected by the diseases we study and aim to cure. I do not recommend that others study Buddhist doctrines in depth unless they are called to. I do think it is critical to understand other faiths in order to properly witness and disciple them. That is why we’ve created worldviews101.

Carefully look through your home for items that need to be deposed of. Over the years, items have surfaced that we originally missed and we have discarded them in appropriate ways. Sometimes they are just items that we feel are not supportive to making our home a sanctuary and may give them away or if it is something that would harm others we have destroyed it, such as a glass crack pipe we discovered that was left in our back house.

It is also very important to take authority over your house. If someone is living in sinful behavior, it is important to gently and wisely confront them as it affects your entire household. If they do not repent, then it is justified to ask them to leave.

Before we address other issues like Tibetan Buddhism, we must make sure our own house is in order. As gatekeepers, we must look at issues, including our own marriage bed, medicine cabinets, refrigerators, bedside reading materials, and our interior life. Do not go into detail about your sinful practices with others lest they and you sin, but openly confess them to Yeshua our High Priest. Yes confess your sins to one another, but don’t use it as an opportunity to gossip or become morose. Forgetting what lies behind, press on towards the upward call of Christ Jesus. We are in a battle. Keep short accounts. If someone calls you to account. Take heart and examine yourself. Repentance, Confession, Forgiveness, and Restitution when someone is wronged. I have a letter to write. Write letters, prayerfully.

“Become, then imitators of Elohim as beloved children. And walk in love, as Messiah also has loved us, and gave Himself for us, a gift and an offering to Elohim for a sweet smelling fragrance. But whoring and all uncleanness, or greed of gain, let it not even be named among you, as is proper among set-apart ones—neither filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor coarse jesting, which are not fitting, but rather thanksgiving.

For this you know, that no one who whores, nor unclean one, nor one greedy of gain, who is an idolater, has any inheritance in the reign of Messiah and Elohim.” Ephesians 5:1-5

“See then that you walk exactly, not as unwise, but as wise, redeeming the time, because the days are wicked.”  Ephesians 5:15-16

RED ALERT 5 Days Until the Kalachakra Ceremony in WDC The Evil Snake

THE PROPHECY IN THE KALACHAKRA OF THE BUDDHIST WAR AGAINST THE EVIL SNAKE RELIGIONS.

The history of interaction between Islam and Buddhism is a bloody one.  Vajrayana Buddhism, originally from India, was forced over the Himalayas for survival after losing its battles with Islam in India.  The stage is being set in the Shambhala myth when “two superpowers will then have control over the world and take to the field against one another. The Tibetans  foresee a Third World War here” (Henss, 1985, p.19).

In the first chapter of the Kalachakra Tantra, the “false doctrines” that need to be battled are nominated.  The Kalachakra nominates Enoch, Abraham and Moses among the Jews, then Jesus for the Christians, and a “white clothed one,”…Mani, the founder of ManichaeismThe secret text of the Kalachakra explicitly names the “leaders” of Judaism, Christianity and Islam as the opponents of Buddhism: “Adam, Enoch, Abraham, Moses, Jesus, Mani, Muhammad and the Mahdi” describing them as “the family of the demonic snakes” (Shri Kalachakra I. 154). The final, Armageddon-like battle (Shambhala war) ends in the total victory of the Buddhists. The official Kalachakra-Interpreter Alexander Berzin openly compares the principles of the Islamic “Jihad” with that of the Shambhala war. As in the Islamic martyr-ideology Shambhala-Warriors, who will be killed in the last battle have earned passage into the [Buddhist] paradise.. WHY WASHINGTON, DC THE CAPITOL OF THE FREE WORLD?

FEDERAL TRIANGLE. The area is known as the Federal Triangle which was designed and laid out by Frederick Law Olmstead, who was also the landscape architect for Central Park in New York and Stanford University in California.  The District of Columbia is laid out “according to Egyptian pagan beliefs” in the shape of the Egyptian hieroglyph daleth, a triangle which Freemasons use to identify occult sites.  It mirrors the constellation Sirius. In the Capitol Dome a pantheon of Greek Gods is prominently displayed where the Dalai Lama was awarded the Congressional Gold Medal. The obelisk, or Washington monument is but an ancient Egyptian phallic symbol whose construction was stopped for a season during the great Finney Revival.   Dagon as you may recall was the fish god with the trunk of a fish and the head and hands of a human worshiped by the Philistines (I Chronicles 10:10). Many of the ceremonies of Baal worship are reminiscent of Tibetan tantric rites complete with female sexual consorts.

“And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, My people,

that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.”

~Revelation 18:4 KJV.

EGYPT- TIBET CONNECTION. The occult writings of Jesuit Athanasius Kirchner (1602-1680) reveals in his research that ancient Egypt influenced  the tantric culture of Tibet.  Siegbert Hummel saw the “Land of Snows” as almost a reserve for Mediterranean traditions” and likewise nominated Egypt as the origin of the tradition of Tibetan mysteries.  But it was the occultist (and founder of the Theosophical Society) Helena Blavatsky who saw the origins of both cultures as flowing from the same source. The two “supernatural secret societies”, who whispered the ideas to her were the “Brotherhood of Luxor” and the “Tibetan brotherhood.” (Trimondi: Shadow of the Dalai Lama pg. 131).

Prayer: Reveal the hidden deeds of darkness in our nation, O YESHUA HA’MOSHIACH, KING OF KINGS. Reveal the hidden structures of corruption and the secret societies. May You raise up men and women of YHWH, like prophets and judges of old to combat the rise of darkness in our nation’s capitol.  We ask for chastening and cleansing of the Congress and for righteous men and women to serve as our President, Vice President, Cabinet,  Representatives, Senators, Judges, and Military leaders. We pray for a purging and outpouring of the convicting power of the HOLY SPIRIT on the Nation.

THE WESTERN LAMA.  Is it any coincidence that US President Barack H. Obama is supporting a war in Egypt? That he’s called “The Western Lama” by the Dalai Lama? By others in the Middle East, a King?  That in “Batman Begins” a “supernatural secret society” out of the Himalayas is out to establish a new order of things by destroying the unredeemable Gotham City? That we presently are fighting a war in Afghanistan, where Greek magic came into contact with the teachings of tantric Buddhism. That out of the region of Swat, in Pakistan, Al Quaeda’s stronghold, Padmasambhava, the Tantric Tibetan Shaman launches out to Tibet where he conquers Tibet’s indigenous gods and converts it to Vajrayana Buddhism?   That the hosts of the upcoming visit of the Dalai Lama to Chicago following the Kalachakra ceremony in Washington DC is the Theosophical Society, the White Buddhists?

SYNCRETICISM. While attending the “Seventh International Conference on Christian-Buddhist Dialogue” at Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles, I was troubled by the syncreticism that I witnessed between Roman Catholicism and Buddhism.  While I initially expected that I would be mostly talking with Buddhists about the Gospel, I found myself in five or six conversations with Catholics who seemed to be making the pilgrimage to Buddhist thought and practice. They were intrigued why it was that I, a former Buddhist, left Buddhism for Christianity. The conclusion of the matter usually was, “A man cannot serve two masters.”  They seemed to walk away sad. I wonder if they ever even knew the LORD Jesus?

PRAYER: May those who call themselves followers of Jesus Christ,  find themselves more and more devoted to our God and Savior Jesus Christ of Nazareth, Yeshua Ha’Moshiach and serve YHWH with all their heart, mind, soul and strength.

MANDALA POLITICS. One talk on religion and politics focused upon “The Mandalization of Politics.”  I recall hearing years ago of the discovery of a map of Tibet which showed how it was conquered through ritual magic events and when all the lines were assembled together it resembled a woman nailed down. Their attempts kept being thwarted to take over Tibet, until they subjugated a woman under the water. Finally, they were able to take Lhasa, the capitol of Tibet. When I look at the map of Turtle Island (Canada, the United States of America, First Nations, and Mexico) dotted with all the mandala and vase locations, I wonder what the Tibetan shamans are seeing? Is the final victory lap for them in Washington, DC?

WomentiedDown

PRAYER: Unveil the Tibetan plans of establishing the Shambhala Empire and its expansion in America. Reveal to us what the dot matrix mandala and vase map is attempting to do. Forgive us, O Master Yeshua Ha’Moshiach, for not being wide awake to the incursion of Buddhism, Islam, Hinduism, and other false religions on our land and not welcoming the immigrant into our nation and sharing the Gospel with them.  Forgiveness for rejecting Your Torah and not keeping Your statutes (Amos 2:4).

You have said, “For three transgressions of Judah and for four I will not revoke its punishment, Because they rejected the law of the LORD, and have not kept His statutes; their lies also have led them astray, those after which their fathers have walked…For commanding the prophets saying, ‘You shall not prophesy!’ (Amos 2:4 a, 12b).

Forgiveness for bestowing honor on the Dalai Lama, a foreign god-king paid by the CIA.

He who punished ‘the altars of Bethel” (Amos 3:14), do you not think He will punish the United States who has funded the Dalai Lama and the Kalachakra Ceremony in Washington, DC? Repent, turn back to the God whom you trusted in your founding. “In God We Trust” shall be a broken covenant for which the US will be held accountable. John Owen in an argument with a Roman Catholic who wrote “Fiat Lux” and argued that Papists introduced the Gospel of Jesus Christ to England spoke in a skillful and articulate rebuttal against those claims as he plainly laid out the truth of their history, “They were not papists which brought Christianity first into this land (speaking of England). Do you think that Gregory believed the Catholic supremacy and infallibility of the pope. (lib.iv.epist.32,36,38)…Irregularities and superstitious observations were, not a few in his days, crept into the church of Rome.” (The Works of John Owen Volume XIV, “Animadversions on A Treatise entitled “Fiat Lux;” or a Guide in Differences of Religion between Papist and Protestant, Presbyterian and Independent).”

And indeed the United States of America’s founding is a mixture of religious and philosophical elements that we must come to terms with as did the reformers, Luther and Calvin among others. It is not enough for us to go back to our “original foundations” but we must look to the Creator’s design and not transpose our designs onto this nation making Washington, D.C., the New Jerusalem. Indeed it is time for deep biblical self examination as new arrivals, god’s your fathers did not know have arrived. Religions that have their own designs for a nation which has albeit forgotten her Redeemer and LORD, Jesus Christ and turned to follow modern Balaams, who seduce her children to follow gods that are not gods and have exchanged the truth for a lie. All of us have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, there is none righteous, no not one. Every denomination has allowed leaven into it’s doors, Methodist churches allowing sand mandalas to be built in their sanctuaries, Presbyterian churches hosting Buddhist blood relic tours, Congregational church pastors taking a Buddhist vow and likening themselves to Martin Luther, Episcopal Churches having sand mandalas built in their sanctuaries, opening the door to everyone, Christian universities such as BIOLA University, adopting Buddhist mindfulness meditation in their schools, ad nauseum.

YHWH has given over the nation to its own devices as it has rejected His rule. We have again fallen for the old seditious lies of Marcion and Erastus and now worship a god of our own imaginations. A greater danger is upon us than Tibetan Buddhism and Islam. We have fallen. As Daniel wrote, “As it is written in the law of Moses, all this calamity has come on us; yet we have not sought the favor of the LORD our God by turning from our iniquity and giving attention to Thy truth. Therefore, the LORD has kept the calamity in store and brought it on us; for the LORD our God is righteous with respect to all His deeds which He has done, but we have not obeyed His voice.” (Daniel 9:13-14). Although this was a message directed to the Jews, it is one we do well to heed deeply and without delay.

Congress, you stay in session over the Fourth of July for figuring out how to deal with the US Deficit.  Instead of celebrating Independence, may you instead don sack cloth and ashes and repent for failing to steward the nation and serving as gatekeepers. Remembering,

“On the 30th Day of April in 1863, President Lincoln issued this proclamation for a National Day of Fasting, humiliation and prayer. He said, “We have been recipients of the choicest bounties of heaven. We have been preserved these many years in peace and prosperity. We have grown in numbers, wealth and power as no other nation has ever grown. We have forgotten God. We have forgotten the gracious hand, which has preserved us in peace and multiplied and enriched and strengthened us. We have vainly imagined in the deceitfulness of our hearts that all these blessings were produced by some superior wisdom and virtue of our own. Intoxicated by unbroken success, we have become too self sufficient, and too proud to pray to the God that made us. It behooves us then to humble ourselves before the offended power to confess our national sins and to pray for clemency and forgiveness.

The question posed to the Christian community originally about the tidal wave of Buddhism in America was, “Who opened the door?” I read some interesting commentary by Ron Campbell called Jeremiah Project  which shows how all of Washington, D.C. is laid out in Masonic ritualistic form and is dedicated at a deeper level to the sun god. Ron Campbell asked, “To what deity was Washington, D.C. dedicated? Is it possible that through Masonic rituals, our nation’s government has been symbolically offered to the kingdom of darkness?”

He also addressed the falsehood of Freemasonry, a secret religious and fraternal order. The Mason, “Manley Hall wrote that a Mason’s religion ‘Must be universal: Christ, Buddha or Mohammed, the name means little for he recognizes only the light and not the bearer.” However, “Roman Catholics, Assemblies of God, and Presbyterian Church of America, and Missouri Synod Lutherans, have said membership in a Masonic Lodge is incompatible with the Christian faith”, but many have changed their tune and are now freemasons and members of other secret societies which must be renounced. The Southern Baptists have refused to admit to this. “Preacher’s during the First and Second Great Awakening condemned it (Freemasonry)” along with the famous evangelist Charles Finney who openly opposed freemasonry.”  Last month, one member of the First Baptist Church of Dallas told me that their library would not even allow anti-Freemason materials. How far we’ve fallen.

Could we not agree then with the Prophet Isaiah’s confession? “Woe is me, for I am a man of unclean lips among a people of unclean lips” Are we standing for what we believe or are we like the proverbial frog in the boiling pot, being heated degree by degree until the frog is too complacent to act any longer and boils to death?

While we do believe in religious liberty, do we not hold to a separation of Church and State? The Supreme Court ruled against prayer in public arenas just weeks before, but here was an event paid for by millions of American tax dollars which featured burning incense, prayer wheels, spiritual sand paintings, prayer monuments, and public Tibetan prayer by the spiritual head of the entire Tibetan Buddhist world.

While, they have a right to assemble as did the Nation of Islam, Promise Keepers and others, but one former State Supreme Court Justice questioned their right to have major public financial backing for a spiritual gathering on the National Mall. The Smithsonian catalog in 26 pages did much to promote Tibetan Buddhism, religious art, nuns, and the spread of the Buddhist Dharma (teaching) groups in the West. This is tantamount to a State Church being given financing.

As Christians we believe that God loves the Tibetan people whom He created as equals, but He also detests all idolatry. Our nation was not founded on Buddhist principals, it was founded on Judaic-Christian principals. Even though many may contend we live in a post-Christian society which is their right to proclaim, it is our undying commitment that we must continue to call our nation back to its “original foundations”, while still repenting for our historic failings, e.g., mistreatment of First Nations, African Americans, and allowing the detestable practices of secret societies such as Freemasonry and Skull and Bones (John Kerry and President Bush are members). A call to return the skull and bones of Geronimo from your shameful men’s club.

For President Obama to issue a formal apology for insulting the First Nation’s Hero Geronimo in the latest capture and killing of Osama bin Laden. For a restitution of all the 200,000 First Nation bodies held without rest in the Nation’s capitol to be returned to their tribes for proper burial.  For National and Denominational repentance for the shameful covenant breaking of the American Government and complicity of American Christian denominations in the abusive boarding school systems. (II Chronicles 7:12-22).

God has set before us today a blessing or a curse. If you obey His commands, “The LORD will command the blessing upon you in your barns and in all that you put your hand to, and He will bless you in the land which the LORD your God gives you… the LORD will establish you as a holy people to Himself, as He swore to you…” (Deuteronomy 28:8-9). However, if we worship idols, burn incense to other gods, turn prayer wheels, build vain sand mandalas and prayer monuments to false deities, He has promised to curse us.

This is instructive to the Tibetan people who may wonder why God has judged their nation and to us if we do not turn away from our nation’s present wickedness. God is long-suffering and yet His judgments are righteous and forthcoming.

He said, “The LORD will bring a nation against you from afar, from the end of the earth, as the eagle swoops down, a nation whose language you shall not understand, a nation of fierce countenance who shall have no respect for the old, nor show favor to the young.” This will all come about “If you are not careful to observe all the words of this law which are written in this book, to fear this honored and awesome name the LORD your God…” (Deut. 28:49,58).

Wednesday, July 6 through Friday, July 8. PREPARATORY TIBETAN EARTH RITUALS   Washington, DC.

The master builder of the Kalachakra sand mandala may very well be the same one who lives in Madison, Wisconsin who built the Kalachakra mandala there thirty years ago in July 1981 and then also in Tower One of the WTC in New York,City.

Here is the link to a map of sites in Washington, DC that have been influenced by Tibetan Buddhism.

ORIGIN

A sand mandala is a ritual altar.

“Tantric religion was a pan-Indian development, and the Buddhist tantras shared much in common with those of other sects,…as ritual slaying appears in a variety of Hindu tantric sources… A description of a rite of human sacrifice (mahapasu) does appear, however in the Blood Chapter (Rudhiradhaya) which ‘describes a sacrificial rite in which either an animal or a human being may be offered to the wrathful goddess Kali. The rite first came to the attention of Western scholars in 1799, when W.C. Blaquiere, a magistrate working in Calcutta, published his English translation in Asiatick Researches.”

“Like the Dunhuang liberation rite, the Kalika Purchna’s ritual of human sacrifice directs the practitioner to arrange the victim at the sacrificial site, facing him in a specific direction” daubing the victim’s body with mustard paste on key parts of the victim’s body” then cutting with a demonic iron axe or knife calling on the “fearsome black goddess” offering the severed head to Kali or Heruka Buddha, divining good and bad omens depending on where the man’s severed head falls be it in the southeast, west, north or northwest.’

“It seems safe to say that this ancient liberation manual that has emerged from the darkness of the Dunhuang caves was not entirely unique among the tantric circles of medieval India.”

Because Buddhists are well known for their “proscription against blood sacrifices of any kind, let alone human sacrifice,”  modern Tibetan Buddhists may be shocked that their “own well-known liberation rite is, in one of its earliest forms at least, a rite of human sacrifice.” Excerpts from A Buddhist Manual for Human Sacrifice; Appendix C: Dunhuang Liberation Rite II, Translation of PT840/1.  Excerpts from The Taming of the Demons—Violence and Liberation in Tibetan Buddhism by Jacob Dalton.

The building of a sand mandala, a ritual altar, a palace for 722 deities begins as the Kalachakra master prostrates himself before a false god, invoking their god, Kalachakra, the time god who is changes laws and seasons. For the next three days, the specially trained lamas ritually purify the site. “Monks investigate the ground, measurements are taken,” magic mantras are chanted.  “Subsequently, it comes to a highly provocative scene, in which the local spirits and the earth goddess are violently forced to agree with the construction of the mandala.”

Three Dimensional Mandala in the Potala Palace, Lhasa Tibet.

“For this purpose one of the lamas takes on the appearance of Vajravega, that is, he visualizes himself as this deity. Vajravega is blue in color, has three necks and 24 hands. As clothing he wears a tigerskin skirt, decorated with snakes and bones. He is considered to be the terrifying emanation of the time god Kalachakra. He can evoke sixty wrathful protective deities from out of his inscrutable heart, who then storm out through his ears, nostrils, eyes, mouth, uretha, anus, and from an opening in the top of his skull. Among these are found zombies, vampires and dakinins with the heads of animals.”

“This monster now drags in the impeding local spirits with iron hooks and, once they have been bound in chains, nails them down in the ten directions with ritual daggers. A further ten wrathful deities are projected into each of these daggers (phurbas). There are indications which must be regarded seriously that in the performance of the Kalachakra rituals it is not just the local spirits, but likewise the earth mother (Srinmo) who embody nailed down victims.”

After the tantra masters demonstration of power, he sits down in the center of the mandala space, faces the East and says , “I shall build on this place a mandala in the manner I have imagined it.” This is his act of territorial occupation.

“The tantra master evokes the terrifying deity, Vajravega, anew, and once again drives potential disruptive spirits out of the mandala grounds. He is so filled with wrathful deities that horror figures who are supposed to protect the mandala even emanate out of the soles of his feet…On the table top, the lama lays a lotus, a sword, a wish-granting jewel, a wheel, and in the middle a vajra (thunderbolt). This centrally placed “thunderbolt” demonstrates yet again the masculine control of the earth.”

In that the earth is transformed into a diamond by the tantric gesture of the Buddha, nature is symbolically transformed into pure spirit and woman into a man.”

PRAYERS.

O, YHWH, All Principalities & Powers flee at YOUR PRESENCE. Release the Fear of the YHWH on this nation that they may know that YOU are ALONE worthy of Praise, Adoration, and worship. Courage.

O, YESHUA, Take the veil off the eyes of the American people and the church. Awaken us to the depth of our own sin and our complicity with the government. Forgive us for our sins of greed, ignorance, willful disobedience, lust of the eyes, lust of the flesh, & the pride of life. Give us courage (II Chronicles 20:12).

There is only one who is worthy of being called HOLY, that is YHWH (GOD), OUR KING YESHUA HA’MOSHIACH (Jesus Christ of Nazareth, KING of Kings), and the RUACH HAKODESH (HOLY SPIRIT).

O LORD, we call out for YOUR HOLY SPIRIT’s conviction of all pastors, educators and government officials in Seattle, Sun Valley, Los Angeles, Toronto, Mexico City, Irvine, Pasadena, Portland, San Diego, Tucson, Dallas-Fort Worth, Atlanta, Boston, New York, Chicago, Minneapolis-St. Paul, (and unnamed cities) and many universities, whose leader’s silence allowed the busing in of countless youth groups to see and hear the Dalai Lama’s false teachings in unlawful assemblies across the nation in direct violation of the doctrine of separation of Church and State. Where were those fierce shepherds protecting their flock?

An Assignment of Repentance for nation on vacation. If you are traveling to any of the sites in the nation where a sand mandala has been constructed, a tantric vase has been buried, a ritual has been conducted, or the Dalai Lama has spoken, ask YHWH for His forgiveness for the defilement that has taken place and for not watching over our children and youth as gatekeepers in the church, government, education, and industry. Pray over those rivers, mountains, state capitals and state parks where 253 vile tantric vases have been buried in the name of “peace vases”asking forgiveness from Abba for all the defilement that has taken place. Pray for the healing of the land. II Chronicles 10:16; 14:2;16:9

Pray that Christians would be alerted to the dangers of idolatry disguised in the arts and be educated to address it wisely. Conviction of the Tibetan Buddhists for their defilement of our land through the burial of 253 vile Tantric vases in our state capitols, major lakes, rivers, national parks and sacred places. (Leviticus 18:24-30.

The Buddhist Next Door

By James C. Stephens

3.4img

Little Lisa on The Simpsons Christmas special, tired of the hypocrisy and commercialism of the Springfield church, decides to become a Tibetan Buddhist and is mentored by Richard Gere on prime-time television.

About the same time, John Altschuler, the producer and writer for King of the Hill, is given a book on the Buddha by his wife. He ends up writing a satire for an episode he nicknames, “He Ain’t Heavy, He’s My Buddha.” In this episode, the Hills’ only child, Bobby, is recognized as an American reincarnation of the Lama Sanglug by immigrant monks, putting his father, Hank, through great angst as he unsuccessfully attempts to explain his Methodist worldview to his son. Ever so subtly, and, sometimes blatantly, Buddhism slips in uninvited to comfortable living rooms across America via mainstream media.

This influx of popular Buddhism began in 1960, when Masayasu Sadanaga, a young student from Japan, stepped onto the UCLA campus with the resolve to introduce “true Buddhism” to America.

File1221

In 1970, I was swept up into the excitement of their movement to establish world peace through human revolution while studying political science on the campus of Cal State University Northridge. Thus began my 14-year journey into Buddhism, complete with many practices similar to evangelical Christianity-street witnessing, late-night discussion meetings and the singing of Buddhist sutras set to tunes such as “I’ve Been Working on the Railroad.”

My Buddhist worldview was challenged, however, while visiting Japan on an architecture tour. As I leaned over to put some postcards in my travel bag, someone yelled a warning at me in Japanese. Unfortunately, I didn’t speak Japanese, nor did I have time to move as a 200-pound sign blew over on my back. In shock, I was whisked away in a taxi to the hospital, suffering from a sharp blow to my spinal chord and a partially paralyzed arm. Ironically, the accident report read, “Act of God.”

While lying on several hospital beds in Japan, I struggled with troubling questions about the power of the Buddhist gods to save. After returning to the states, I joined Amway and became consistently exposed to the testimonies of Christians, and observed the importance faith played in their business and marriages. Initially, my wife and I just became more committed to becoming the first successful Buddhist distributors. Evidently, God had other plans.

The following three years were spent aggressively pursuing my business goals, while rubbing shoulders with godly friends who prayed for me, asked me convicting questions and gave me books that answered many of mine. After a month of frightening dreams, weighing the numerous prophecies of Christ with those of the Buddha and wrestling with 2 Peter 3:10 that spoke of the day of the Lord coming like a thief, I sought out a pastor who led me to Christ one hot July afternoon in 1984.

I began to thirst for more than fellowship. Weekly, I searched the church library looking for answers on issues that were of importance to me as a former Buddhist. I searched for books on Christian meditation, but found only those suggesting that Zen meditation made them better Christians. (I knew Zen from my studies and practice, and even as a new Christian saw it as incompatible with the Christian faith.)

Does Mindfulness belong in the public schools ii

This ideology is not confined to books alone. One friend claims that he was healed by his Zen priest’s treatments. Now at his doctor’s advice, he’s practicing Buddhist meditation at home-albeit with a twist: He uses the Lord’s prayer instead of praying to the Buddha. Although claiming to have a love of Christ, he has a very limited understanding of the theological underpinnings of his faith.

This confusion may be traced to the fact that a high percentage of evangelicals no longer believe in the exclusivity of the Christian faith. Instead, according to an August 2005 Beliefnet.com poll, “Eight in 10 Americans- including 68 per cent of evangelicals-believe that more than one faith can be a path to salvation, which is most likely not what they were taught in Sunday school.”

Buddhist theology and practice is antithetical to biblical Christianity. For instance, the Buddhist objective in meditation is to empty one’s mind while seeking union with the cosmos, ultimately buying into the Serpent’s ancient lie, “You shall become as gods.”

Since we have already been saved through His grace, we don’t meditate to accumulate merit as would a Buddhist. Through contemplation, we focus our minds on His Word and His works, waiting upon Him and actively listening. Christian meditation takes discipline, but is only fruitful by the grace of God (see 2 Cor. 3:5; 9:8).

So, why do so many Christians neglect to share their faith with Buddhists? Many have willfully chosen to follow the latest popular religious fashions and put their theological mind on hold. According to research by Robert Wuthnow and Wendy Cadge published in Journal for the Scientific Study of Religion (September 2004), “Fifty-six per cent of the American public thinks of Buddhists as tolerant, while 63 per cent believe them to be peace-loving.”

In its August 2005 survey, Beliefnet.com posed the question, “Can a good person who isn’t of your religious faith go to heaven or attain salvation, or not?” Brace yourself for a shock. While 91 per cent of Catholics said yes and 83 per cent of non-evangelical Christians said yes, 68 per cent of evangelicals said yes as well. Consider how elements of Buddhist ideology have become entwined in our thinking:

A youth pastor at a prominent evangelical church recently rose to the pulpit and gave a report on the success of their recent summer camp. He exclaimed, “It was so great, I thought I died and gone to nirvana.”

Cartoon South Floridians interpret DL message of love and compassion

Another day, our children-keenly tuned to sniff out Buddhism’s subtle invasion into our culture-shared that their favorite history teacher who was teaching on world religions passed around a little fat Buddha statue and jokingly taught them to rub it for good luck. All this in a preppy private Christian high school in Southern California.

Another friend of mine occasionally travels to India and relayed a story about the many Pentecostals and charismatics he met there who were practicing Tibetan Buddhism. When I asked why, he said, “Most were seeking spiritual experiences, and while they loved Jesus as a teacher, they were not firmly grounded in the Scriptures and went astray as they sought the supernatural.”

We’ve also seen Baptists, Catholics, Methodists, Presbyterians, Episcopalians and Congregationalists slide into Buddhism. One pastor of a local church joined his wife in taking vows at the local Buddhist temple-while retaining his position as senior pastor of the church.

The primary struggle for every generation that is dedicated to missions and evangelism is coming to terms with how does the true gospel get translated into mainstream culture without compromise? How do we keep our faith and maintain our moral and theological standards while still living in the midst of an increasingly pluralistic society?

When an invasive pop culture and its terminology has become the norm, and millions are spent on conveying that message through the media, one cannot passively sit back and live in a 1950s religious cocoon. Daniel and his followers in Babylon faced similar tests of their faith. We are told that the godly will be persecuted. The question is, “Will we remain faithful?”

Tears of An Exile, the Memoirs of Pastor Vu Duc Chang

The Chang's

Tears of An Exile, the Memoirs of Pastor Vu Duc Chang, who was the former assistant ministry of Education in Viet Nam, a family who survived through three exiles in their blessed life as believers. He was like a Daniel. He wrote in his preface,

“It was the third time we had lost everything we possessed. In 1951, we tragically had to flee our native village.  My parents,  my wife and I were forced by circumstances to leave our homes, rice fields, orchards, fish ponds, properties and our cherished ancestral tombs. In 1954, just three turbulent years later, we left Hanoi after the Geneva Partition agreement and left behind everything we had accumulated in that short period and fled to Saigon empty handed. For the next twenty one years, we worked diligently in South Viet Nam rebuilding our lives, raising a family, and serving our fellow citizens and the LORD, never imagining that in April 1975, we once again would be swept up in the tide of history and be forced to flee our beloved homeland and lose almost everyone and everything we had grown to treasure in the home of our nativity.

Through these tragic circumstances we have come to fully grasp the true meaning of these beautiful verses in Mathew 6:19-20~

“Don’t store up measures here on earth where they can erode away or may be stolen. Store them in heaven where they will never lose their value, and are safe from thieves.”

We draw great solace from His Word and promises.  The following verse is the basis of the title of the Memoirs you hold in your hand, Tears of An Exile.

“You number my wanderings; put my tears into Your bottle; Are they not in Your book? When I cry out to You, then my enemies will turn back; this I know, because God is for me. In God (I will praise His word), In the LORD (I will praise His word), In God I have put my trust; I will not be afraid. What can man do to me?”

Our Lord God Almighty is blessing us and our posterity from generation to generation.
My paternal grandparents, and my parents on both sides had experienced it.
My wife and I have been and are experiencing  this great blessing.
We pray and hope that our children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren will continue to enjoy the same blessing in order to perpetuate a tradition of piety and devotion, for God’s glory.

Two Faces of a Tibetan Idol in America

March 07 2014 DL WDC National Cathedral Interfaith Dialogue

An Icon of Light with a Shady Side
by Tilman Müller and Janis Vougioukas
English Translation of an excellent German article in Stern Magazine published in 2009.

When visiting Germany this week, the Dalai Lama will again be lauded as a messiah. The head of Tibetans is regarded as a symbol of tolerance. But critics in his exile community fail in demanding religious freedom and democracy.

He always comes in a large convoy like a president, bodyguards surrounding him, movie stars and managers forming honour guards. Politicians in charge hurry to welcome him. The scene may be the same this week in Frankfurt [Germany], just as it was in Nuremberg last year. The Dalai Lama greeted the crowds with his lovely child-like waving of hands. But his speech in the town hall made people halt their breath, as reported by a local newspaper next day.

.
He catered the elect audience saying he saw Nuremberg already on photographs when he was still a child: “very attractive with generals and weapons“ and with “Adolf Hitler and Hermann Goering“.
Some of the auditors seemed to be “embarrassed”, some were “alienated for a second;” Nuremberg’s chief mayor Ulrich Maly calls it a “moment of shock“. The special guests tried to get him self afterwards out of the affair by stating that as a child he wasn’t able to foresee the Nazi catastrophe.

.

If the Pope had given himself room for such statements in the city of the Reichsparteitage [NSDAP party summits] and the race laws, there would have been a loud outcry in the republic [of Germany]. But the head of Tibetan Buddhists is willingly excused for such words although His Holiness has enough reason to critically think about Nazi history. He who bears the title of the “Ocean of Wisdom” always had a very close relationship to his teacher Heinrich Harrer, a famous alpinist and author (“Seven years in Tibet”). Harrer had been a snappy Nazi who for a long time tried to hide the fact that he used to hold the rank of SS-Oberscharführer [Senior Squad Leader of the Schutz-Staffel (SS) or Protective Echelon of Adolf Hitler]. The Tibetan court used to have close ties with the NS-regime.

.

SS-expeditions were welcomed to Lhasa with full mark of respect. Until today, His Holiness never distanced himself from these inglorious relationships. But this is not the only dark chapter in his story of success.

.
The Dalai Lama smiles away all doubts. Almost everywhere he receives the same god-like veneration. In the West he appears as the super idol of the new age but in the Himalayans he governs like a medieval potentate. A gentle do-gooder who can show a surprisingly intolerant yes dictator-like behaviour. His people’s sad fate, suppressed by Beijing and expulsed, hides the inner problems of the Dalai Lama-regime.

.
Here [in Germany] people attracted by him fill stadiums like coming to see a pop star. In Nuremberg 7,000 people listened to him, in Hamburg two years ago 30.000 and Frankfurt Commerzbank-Arena expects 40.000 visitors these days. The tickets range from € 10 to € 230 and usually are booked one year in advance. In conjunction with his huge events, there came up a unique spiritual supermarket. 728 German and 908 English books from and about the Dalai Lama are listed with amazon, 13,200 videos at youtube, almost 8 million entries in google. The son of Tibetan peasants is the most popular of all living noble laureates.

.

Members of all religions and also atheists come like pilgrims to his one-man-shows. “We had direct eye-contact”, a young woman in the German city of Moenchengladbach shouted out over-happily and immediately promised to stop smoking henceforth. “He makes me feel good”, a woman in Boston says in excitement and puts it into a nutshell, “it’s his aura, this simpleness”.

.
Just in Europe and the US, the birthplaces of the Age of Enlightenment, this Buddhist messiah formed new strongholds of his religion and he also finds favour with the usually critical-thinking generation of 68 [the left wing student protest movement in Europe] In 1971, Stern Magazine [The magazine where this article was published] celebrated him as the “saint on the mountain”, Spiegel Magazine romanticised him to be a “god to touch” two years ago.

.

The head of the powerful German publishing house Springer, Mathias Döpfner, ex-porn queen Dolly Buster, German football star Mehmet Scholl, former economy minister Otto Graf Lambsdorff, and the inventor of the famous Love Parade Dr. Motte venerate Tenzin Gyatso, the 14th Dalai Lama.

.
Where does that huge excitement come from? Christianity is loosing prestige and believers. That left a vacuum giving Buddhism a space to develop in the west as some kind of wellness-religion. And the peaceful calmness of the Dalai Lama makes you feel comfortable in the rough daily rat-race. His positive charisma seems to ban all fear of crisis. On top of this, there arose a Tibet romanticism in the West transfiguring  the snow land on the roof of the world where the Dalai Lama had been born in 1935 in a hut with juniper rain-pipes.

.
The Asia expert Orville Schell, president of the New York Center of Sino-American Relations, explained the development of the Tibet-Myth from its remote position for centuries in innumerable works. The lack of knowledge gave birth to fantasies. It all started back in 1933 with James Hilton’s novel “Lost Horizon”, first published in German titled “Irgendwo in Tibet – Somewhere in Tibet”. The action was set in the sunshine paradise Shangri-La where no one had to work and everyone is living in eternal peace. The dream factory of Hollywood later on could use all these fantasies, creating a symbiosis of Tibet and pop culture, and created a monument for Tenzin Gyatso with the movie “Kundun”. “Because Tibet has always been so inaccessible, it existed in western imagination rather as a dream than as reality. It was supposed to be a country we could project our post-modern longings to”, Schell says.

.
“I am for you whatever you want me to be for you”, the Dalai Lama says and in that way, alpinist Reinhold Messner regards him as “a fighter for environment protection”. German movie director and Oscar prize winner Florian Henckel von Donnermarck appreciates that “he makes happiness one of his religion’s core principals.” Actress Uma Thurman expects absolution for making the bloodthirsty violent movie “Kill Bill”: “The Dalai Lama would die laughing” if watching the movie. And the Dalai Lama takes part in that game, he is open to all directions at one’s will.

.
He is a perfect tool for presidents and heads of government as even George W. Bush looks peaceful when being with him. The hyper active Nicolas Sarkozy looks gentle, and boring Roland Koch [prime minister of the German state of Hessen] at least seems to have some esprit. Especially with conservative and right-wing politicians this game of mutual instrumentalisation works especially well. The Dalai Lama had strong sympathy for the Austrian right-wing Jörg Haider and visited him several times in his Austrian state of Kaernten.

.
Although the head of Tibetans is already 74, he is touring the West so intensively only for a relatively short time now. In June 1979, he visited Mont Pèlerin at Lake Geneva giving his first public teaching to a greater audience in the west. “There was not much interest regarding the Dalai Lama and we couldn’t even get police protection for him,” one of the then organizers, today living in Switzerland, tells us.

.
In the meanwhile, the Dalai Lama became popular to the world but isn’t it anymore to all the monasteries. “There had been a break in our community about ten years ago,” a former companion says. In the first line it was about a protective saint the brotherhood is not allowed to worship anymore. But basically this religious quarrel is a struggle for power with intrigues, slandering, and intimidation continued until today. Out of fear of repression the confidant of the Dalai Lama asks to stay anonymous. The “Tibetan Community of Switzerland”, an organisation strongly devoted to the Dalai Lama called on all Tibetans in Switzerland having passed their 18th birthday to “immediately” stop the worship of the Tibetan protective deity Dorje Shugden and to sign an 8-point-agreement: “Those few Tibetans publicly and for no reason criticising the Dalai Lama are regarded to be Chinese collaborators by us.”

.
This strategy of “either being with me or against me” and the rigid tone absolutely don’t fit to the gentle manner in which the “Übervater” [super-father] is usually presenting himself to the West. His royal court in Dharamsala still follows the feudalist structure of the old Tibet and is ruled by oracles and rituals that do not have much in common with western tolerance and transparency. The Dalai Lama’s sudden prohibition of the protective deity Shugden who had been worshipped since the 17th century and is one out of hundreds of saints in the Tibetan Buddhist canon in 1996 deeply alienated many religious Tibetans. For them it is incomprehensible and outsiders hardly can grasp how rigorous it is enforced. About one third of the 130,000 exile Tibetans are supposed to have worshipped Shugden before the ban. Today there are only a few thousand to openly show their connection to the cult. There are no independent estimations regarding the 5 million Tibetans inside China.

.
The journalist Beat Regli in 1998 for the first time showed emotional pictures of that imminent conflict in the Indian exile communities in Swiss television [Schweizer Fernsehen, SF – Dalai Lama and Dorje Shugden]. Highly aged monks regretted crying that they didn’t already die before the prohibition of Shugden. A desperate family whose house had been set alight is presented as well as wanted posters denouncing Shugden followers and a Dalai Lama uncompromisingly defending his ban. “Wrong, wrong” he sounds off in a cold and sharp way nobody in the west has ever expected from the ever smiling noble laureate.

.
In Dharamsala this quarrel is continuing to the present day. Monks not following the Dalai Lama’s order report of massive discrimination. Relatives and friends are put under pressure and vendors put posters on their shop’s doors saying “No Entrance” for Shugden-believers.

.
In southern Indian city of Mundgod, Ganden Shartse monastery last year celebrated the inauguration of a new prayer hall. “It was supposed to become a great feast” one monk present at the time remembers. He is afraid to say his name. The Dalai Lama himself came and with him a number of other high ranking dignitaries. But almost everything talked about in the speeches and lectures was the old controversial topic of Dorje Shugden. Shortly afterwards the monks are said to have been told to sign a declaration stating they were no longer praticing Shugden. The monastery’s administration even erected a man-high wall through the monastic yard.

.
In the meanwhile the dispute was handed over to the court. Dorje Shugden Society filed a complaint at New Delhi’s High Court in order to check whether this “religious discrimination” is acceptable under Indian law. A decision is expected for the end of this year. Dalai Lama says Shugden worship is harmful to his life and to the “cause of Tibet” with no further statements available. His opposition suspects that Shugden, who is also exhorted as an oracle, was prohibited for being a concurrence to the Dalai Lama’s state oracle.

.
The Tibetan Governement-in Exile (TGE) nevertheless rejects all accusations. “There are only very few of those people left and they are completely financed by PRC. They are the only ones still talking about this topic,” TGE’s prime minister Samdhong Rinpoche says. Being paid by the Chinese is the worst accusation for any Tibetan.

.
The Tibetan refugee’s capital is situated in the small town of Mc Leod Ganj, next to the district capital Dharamsala and twelve hours by bus from New Delhi. The Dalai Lama and members of his closest staff moved into the former residence of the British administration in 1960 with thousands of devotees following him. Among many Indians of that region, Mc Leod Ganj is known as “Little Lhasa”. It is a tiny place with two dusty one way roads winding up the mountain.

.

About 600,000 enlightenment-tourists come here every year. Loud music flows from cafés and bars into the valley and little stands with religious kitsch stand side by side along the roads, one of them even offering “monk’s fashion”. Young Tibetans here wear Jeans and T-Shirts whereas the western tourists usually dress like actors in biblical movies. Little Lhasa has become the “Ballermann” [an area with lots of clubs, bars, and discotheques in Palma de Mallorca famous among German tourists to the Spanish island] for spiritual seekers.

.

The small government district is a short way down the hill with tiny ministries, a parliament, and a library. The Dalai Lama again and again underlines that Tibetans in exile have built up a democratic system. There is a parliament with 43 to 46 seats. All sessions are recorded on DVD and then sent into the refugee settlements. On a theoretical basis the parliament may decide against the Dalai Lama. “But this never happened,” says the parliament’s president Penpa Tsering. “Everyone has great confidence into His Holiness. He sees the Tibetan question from many different angles, receives lots of information and is very, very logical.”

.

For a long time, His Holiness’ family members held high positions. Since 2001 the prime minister is elected directly. In 2006’s elections, he received more than 90% of the votes and thus was confirmed in office. The main goal of Little Lhasa’s political structure is to confirm the Dalai Lama’s decisions and to solidify his power. Parties are absolutely irrelevant and the separation of state and church is not mentioned in the exile Tibetan Charta although it avows itself to the “ideals of democracy” in nice sounding words.

.

In 1990, the independent Tibetan newspaper “mang-tso” (democracy) was published for the first time and quickly became the most important piece of media for Little Lhasa’s refugee community. “We wrote on election fraud, corruption, and everything else existent in every other country as well,” says Jamyang Norbu, then editor-in-chief. “Mang-tso” was uncomfortable and its editors didn’t allow themselves to be intimidated when some of them received death threats and the paper boys were threatened in the streets. In 1996, the situation got even worse, shortly after the newspaper published an article on the Aum sect which was responsible for poisonous gas attacks on Tokyo’s metro in 1995 killing 12 and leaving hundreds injured. The terrorist sect’s leader, Shoko Asahara on several occasions met the Dalai Lama. Even weeks after the first assault, Dalai Lama called him a “friend, yet not a perfect one.” Only later he went on distance to the sect. “Reporters Without Boarders” then said that due to that article “the religious authorities immediately put ‘mang-tso’ under pressure.” It had to close down; that was the end of “democracy”.

.

Criticism or public debates are not welcomed in Little Lhasa. Dalai Lama prefers to ask gods and demons for advice. His Holiness’ official state oracle is called Thubten Ngodup, born in 1958. He is living in Nechung monastery right behind the parliament.

.

For centuries now, the Dalai Lamas seek oracle advice in all important religious and political decisions. After his predecessor had died, Thubten Ngodup became the Dalai Lama’s official fortune-teller in 1987. It is said that he became aware his qualification in various dreams and visions for the first time. Another hint for his supernatural skills was his oftentimes bleeding nose.
Whenever the Dalai Lama has a question, Thubten Nodup would put on his 40-kg ritual garment. Incense would be burnt and his assistants would put a huge crown on his head. Then the oracle would start dancing to the music of horns and cymbals until he would enter a trance murmuring words only well-trained ears can understand. Dalai Lama strongly believes in his predictions. Looking back he found out that “the oracle was always right,” he once said.

.
This is not what democracy looks like and yet there is not much criticism regarding his way of governing for reasons of solidarity with a suppressed people facing the super power China. Drawn out of his country, the Tibetan head has to see the cruel injustice happening there and the old culture slowly being destroyed.

.
The communist leaders in Beijing try to defame the Dalai Lama by calling him “wolf in monk’s robes” or “devil with a human face and a beast’s heart”. At the same time, Chinese security forces suppress even the slightest move towards freedom on the Tibetan plateau. So one doesn’t have to wonder for most Westeners stepping on the side of the weak.

.

But Tibet never was the paradise it is in western imagination. When the Chinese marched into it in 1950, it was stuck up in the medieval era with monks and aristocrats sharing the power. Most people were slaves, serfs, or under debt bondage. The system was protected by a brutal religious police with whips and bars and many monasteries had their own prisons. Even the Dalai Lama’s friend Heinrich Harrer was shocked: “The monks’ rule in Tibet is unique and may only be compared to a strong dictatorship. They are suspicious of any influence from the outside that may endanger their power. They are intelligent enough not to believe in their unlimited power but they will immediately punish anyone who dares to doubt it.” Harrer reports of a man who stole a golden butter lamp from a temple. At first his hand were publicly amputated and then “his mutilated body was sewn into a wet yak skin. They let it dry and then threw it down a ravine.”

.
After the occupation, the Chinese presented themselves as the Tibetan people’s liberators and destroyed the monasteries. And they built up a new system of suppression. They oftentimes point out that despite of his peace messages the Dalai Lama supports the armed resistance in his homeland, himself being supported by “foreign imperialists”. In deed the Dalai Lama’s two elder brothers built up connections with the US intelligence agency. During several years, CIA trained about 300 Tibetans in guerrilla war techniques at Camp Hale in the Rocky Mountains. In a full moon night in October 1957, the first Tibetan elite soldiers jumped out of a B-17 without nationality marking over Tibet. For the case of being caught by the Chinese, each of them carried a small container of cyanite.
.

These Tibetan agents also protected the Dalai Lama’s flight to India permanently being in contact with the CIA via Morse messaging. Later on, the US financed the formation of a Tibetan rebel army in the Nepalese kingdom of Mustang. The programmes were stopped when the US intensified their trading with China in the early 1970s.

.
Regarding Buddhism rather as an esoteric cult than as a religion, many of the Dalai Lama’s followers are astonished when hearing of their idol working hand in hand with the US intelligence agencies. Or when they hear that Buddhism spread in Asia as with much bloodshed as Islam did in Arabia or as the Christian crusades. Again and again Tibetan monasteries had brutal fights against each other. Buddhism is not necessarily more tolerant than other religions. In an interview with “Playboy” magazine, Dalai Lama called homosexual practices “misconduct”. The teachings also condemn “having oral or anal sex with your wife or another female partner”. Similar passages had been deleted from his “Ethics for a New Millennium” on his publisher’s advice.

.
Dalai Lama is in favour of harmony. But he will have to face the confrontation as there is growing criticism in his own exile community. “His Holiness is living in a bubble without contact to the outside world,” says Lhasang Tsering, a long term activist. He is now running a bookstore in Little Lhasa. “Religion and politics should finally be separated.”

.
This is also what Jamyang Norbu is stipulating. “Dalai Lama is not a bad person”, says “mang-tso’s” former editor-in-chief. “But he begins to be a hindrance to our development. We don’t have democracy. Many things today are even worse than in 1959. Then we had three political powers: Dalai Lama, the monasteries, and the nobility.” Today the only leading figure left is the Dalai Lama.

European Press Critically Exams the Dalai Lama and Kalachakra Rituals While the American Press Naps in Washington, D.C.

Comments on a Press Release

Monday, July 11, 2011

I just ran across a press release that gives some vital information on the Kalachakra Initiation that is occurring in Washington, DC. Here it is. It  provides very critical insights on what appears to be happening in Washington, DC. Hope you find it of assistance.

‘The Kalachakra Initiation in Washington DC is the one of the largest and most spectacular events Tibetan Buddhism ever has performed in the West. Nearly all high ranked Lamas are present from around the globe including the young Karmapa, who seemingly is being billed by the D. L. as his spiritual successor. So estimate that 100.000 participants will be attending the Kalachakra ceremonies over the ten day period (July 6-16,2011) including some high ranking political figures.’ Although the Dalai Lama recently resigned from his position as King of the Tibetan-Government-in-Exile and boasts of “separation of Church and State, he has already had political meetings with US top politicians including Speaker of the House John Boehner, Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (CA), and several other representatives.

Because of the complexity and potential consequences of the initiation, it is imperative that this  issue be discussed into an open and critical debate.  Unfortunately, it’s difficult to find journalists that are not Tibet-o-philes blogging at the ceremony.  While they provide interesting observations, the difficult analytical work of the investigative journalist is missing. Take a look below at the list of hard hitting European articles. What a difference. Where are the Aikman’s and Woodwards?  JCS

The Kalachakra-Tantra

A Ritual of Peace or a Totalitarian Temptation?

From July 6 through 16, 2011 the XIV Dalai Lama will offer a Kalachakra-Tantra-Ritual in the heart of the U.S. capital, Washington, DC. In Sanskrit, Kalachakra means “The Wheel of Time.” The Kalachakra Tantra, as well the sacred text used in its ritualistic performance, is considered to be “the pinnacle of all Buddhist systems.”

Included in the Kalchakra Tantra are: the construction of a so-called Sand Mandala, which symbolizes the cosmos, an apocalyptic prophecy known as the Shambhala Myth, and several top-secret initiations.

This complicated mystical ritual is presented by the Dalai Lama and the organizers of the event as a dignified and uplifting contribution to world peace, which fosters compassion with all living beings, inter-religious dialog, interracial tolerance, ecological awareness, sexual equality, inner peace, spiritual development, and bliss for the third millennium (Kalachakra for World Peace). One of the Dalai Lama’s mottos for the whole performance is: “Because we all share this small planet earth, we have to learn to live in harmony and peace with each other and with nature.”

But are the Kalachakra Tantra and the Shambhala Myth truly pacifist? Do they really encourage harmony and cooperation among people? Do they make any real contribution to freedom and justice, equality of gender, religious tolerance or ethnic reconciliation? Are they a comprehensive, politically humanist, democratic and non-violent contribution to world peace?

Andrei Znamenski, Associate Professor of History at Alabama State University and author of an exciting book about the Shambhala Myth in Bolshevist Russia (Red_Shambhala – Magic, Prophecy, and Geopolitics in the Heart of Asia) came to another conclusion:

“It might be shocking for many readers, but let me start by saying that the Kalachakra Tantra has nothing to do with peace, compassion, and freedom. In Tantric Buddhism it was a misogynistic quest performed by male initiates to accumulate sacred power of particular Buddhist deities (the lower seven initiations are open for all) and, through blending male and female fluids (top secret initiations that involved sexuality), to eventually turn themselves into superhuman androgynous beings. Moreover, part of the Kalachakra teaching was a militant Shambhala prophecy, a call for a Buddhist holy war against enemies of Buddhism.”
.

Andrei Znamenski is not alone in this assessment. The Kalachakra Tantra and Tibetan Buddhism are coming more and more into focus by critics. (See: Critical Links to Lamaism) In their groundbreaking work The Shadow of the Dalai Lama – Sexuality, Magic and Politics in Tibetan Buddhism, German cultural philosophers, Victor and Victoria Trimondi, not only provide surprising, previously ignored research but also undertake a well-founded interpretation of Lamaism, rendering the Tibetan-Buddhist worldview understandable for Western readers through a comparison with European religious traditions.

The text pays particular attention to an extensive analysis of the Kalachakra Tantra and its political, ideological, and spiritual implications. (The book appeared in 1999 through the reputable German publishing house Patmos Verlag. The English version is online. It became the standard work on the critical examination of Lamaism and the metapolitics of the Dalai Lama.

In the eighties Victor Trimondi did support the Tibetan religious leader, organized several international congresses and other events with him and featured books about him in his own publishing house, the Dianus-Trikont-Verlag.) In their book the two authors describe in detail the secret rituals of sexual magic in the higher initiations of the Kalachakra Tantra (The Public and the Secret Initiations); they have shown the religious-political intention of the Tantra to establish a world-wide Buddhocracy with a sacred world-ruler (The ADI Buddha); they discuss the intolerance of the Tantra vis-à-vis the monotheist religions, its militant and aggressive warrior-ideology, and its vision of a religious end-time battle against Islam (The Aggressive Myth of Shambhala); and they show how the Tantra is interpreted by the Dalai Lama spokesman Robert Thurman as a symbolic and meta-political instrument to conquer western culture by Lamaism (The Buddhocratic Conquest of the West ).

The Trimondis came to very similar conclusions as their American colleague Andrei Znamenski and other critical authors on the topic: “The teachings of the Buddha have so many treasures and wonderful insights, but the philosophy, the vision and the practices of the Kalachakra Tantra are neither compatible with fundamentals of Buddha’s teachings nor with basic principles of Western Enlightenment. Therein are included an apocalyptic war of religion, the aggressive application of super-weapons, radical transgressions of a humanistic moral code, the dissolution of the ego and the soul of the participants of the ritual, the totalitarian subjugation under the will of the guru, the idea of an imperial and global lama-state (Buddhocracy), and the concept of an absolutist world ruler, the Chakravartin.

The sexual rites in the higher initiations of this occult ritual have to be designated as a manipulation of erotic love and a misuse of female energy to produce spiritual and worldly power of men and monks. So the equality of the sexes, democratic decision making, and ecumenical movements are in themselves foreign to the nature of the Kalachakra Tantra.”

The two German cultural philosophers created the Critical Forum Kalachakra to open a wide-ranging debate over the hidden “dark sides” of the Tantra, and  published many other articles, including a pamphlet, Eight Questions to the 14th Dalai Lama on the Topic of the Kalachakra.

During the public Kalachakra Initiation in Graz/Austria directed by the Dalai Lama (2002), the German-speaking media picked up these critiques from the Trimondis and other authors  to discuss the controversial ritual.

  • The Austrian state TV & Radio ORF broadcasted a feature called, “Critique of the ‘Peace Ritual’ of the Dalai Lama in Graz.” ‘Peace Ritual’ has been written in quotations marks to emphasize the ambivalence of the term in this context.
  • Der Standard (The “New York Times” of Vienna) published a cover article with the title, “A Warrior Ritual of the Dalai Lama: The Kalachakra,”
  • The conservative German Weekly Der Rheinische Merkur wrote: “Extremely wild warriors: what is hidden behind the Kalachakra – Thousands have attended the peace ritual of the Dalai Lama. But the ‘Religion of Happiness’ has also its dark sides.”
  • Georg Schmid, Prof. for Religious Studies at the University Zürich (Switzerland) called attention to the fact that the Kalachakra Tantra was the product of the religious war between Buddhists and militant Moslems in India around the turn of the first millennium.  It was under this influence that the Tantra changed fundamental Buddhist principles. “In this time,” said Professor Schmid, “Buddhism had adopted the law of its enemies and had developed a Buddhist concept of a holy war, a forthcoming apocalyptic conflict between friend and foe of the Buddha-way and a future Buddhist world dominium.”
  • Alexander Berzin, a designated Kalachakra expert of the Dalai Lama [JCS comments Berzin is the Dalai Lama’s apologist. So what’s needed are several different perspectives], also confirms that the Tantra proclaims a holy war: “A careful examination of the Buddhist texts, particularly The Kalachakra Tantra literature, reveals both external and internal levels of battle that could easily be called ‘holy wars.’ An unbiased study of Islam reveals the same. In both religions, leaders may exploit the external dimensions of holy war for political, economic, or personal gain by using it to rouse their troops to battle. Historical examples regarding Islam are well known; but one must not be rosy-eyed about Buddhism.”
  • In the meantime, dozens of books, articles, and discussion groups in German and French have carried forward these criticisms and have expanded them–without sparing the person of the Dalai Lama.
  • A lot of the critical voices came also from the Buddhist camp. See, for example, comments to an article about the Kalachakra Initiation 2011 in the Huffington Post.

  • The latest high point of this critical wave in Germany was a cover story in Germany’s biggest magazine “Stern” (2009): The two faces of the Dalai Lama – The soft Tibetan and his undemocratic Regime (trans. in English). This article was written by Tilman Müller, the same journalist who uncovered ten years before–with his Austrian colleague Gerald Lehner–the Nazi past of the Dalai Lama’s teacher, Heinrich Harrer: Dalai Lama’s friend: Hitlers Champion (trans. in English). Their sensational discovery caused a protest movement in the Jewish community against the film adaptation of Harrer’s autobiographical book Seven Years in Tibet, with Brad Pitt as Harrer.
  • Very accurately the historian Andrei Znamenskis calls the Kalachakra Tantra “a totalitarian temptation.” In his book Red Shambhala he recounts the story of political and spiritual seekers from West and East who used the Tibetan Buddhist prophecies of the Kalachakra Tantra (the Shambhala Myth) to promote their spiritual, social, and geopolitical agendas and schemes. Red Shambhala proves that people in the Left were no strangers to the occult, and they were equally mesmerized by the Tantra. But even more mesmerized have been people of the far Right.
  • In their second book, Hitler-Buddha-Krishna – An unholy alliance from the Third Reich to the present day (2002) which received international attention, Victor and Victoria Trimondi show how influential Fascists and Nazis used the philosophies, mythologies, visions, and dogmas as well as the religious practices and texts of the spiritual traditions of Asia for glorifying war, and for the deification of the “Führer” and the white race. Some of them have been electrified by the Kalachakra Tantra and the Shambhala-Myth.
  • The Trimondis uncover how the Nazi-Orientalists who prepared the SS Tibet Expedition of Reichsführer Heinrich Himmler have been interested in the ritual, and how members of the SS Ahnenerbe (the brain trust of the SS) wanted to spare the Kalachakra Temple in Leningrad (St. Petersburg) during the siege and barrage of the city by the Deutsche Wehrmacht (1941 – 1944). The Shambhala Myth of the Kalachakra Tantra and its militant ideologies are a topic in the occult literature of the international Neo-Fascist and Neo-Nazi scene. One example is Miguel Serrano, the recently deceased leader of the Chilean National Socialists.
  • Another is Ernesto Mila, former chief of the Spanish National-Socialists, who writes about the Kalachakra-Ritual in his article, The envoys of Hitler in Tibet: “The Kalachakra Tantra and its initiation is not a normal ritual. . . . It is the ‘supreme initiation,’ that ‘assured the renaissance in Shambhala’ at the moment of the last battle against the powers of evil. . . . It is the initiation which is appropriate for the warrior caste.”
  • Another example is the accredited expert on the Orient (and Hitler admirer) Jean Marquès-Rivière who after WW II was convicted in absentia and given the death sentence for turning Jews and Free Masons over to the Gestapo and SS in France. He was the author of a Kalachakra interpretation once popular with some fascist elements. He wrote in his book that the Dalai Lama personally gave a ring to him with the Kalachakra Emblem to demonstrate that he is part of the inner circle of Shambhala adepts. (Kalachakra: Initiation Tantrique du Dalai Lama)  Last but not least, the Japanese Doomsday Guru, Shoko Asahara must be mentioned. He intended a Shambalization of our planet by means of nuclear terror. Asahara was responsible for poisonous gas attacks on Tokyo’s metro in 1995, killing 12 and leaving hundreds injured. The terrorist sect’s leader met the Dalai Lama on several occasions. Even weeks after the first assault, the Dalai Lama called him a “friend, yet not a perfect one.” Only later did the Dalai Lama distance himself from the sect leader. (The Doomsday Guru Shoko Asahara and XIV Dalai Lama).
  • So the “totalitarian temptation” which streams out from the Kalachakra Tantra for all sorts of political and religious fanatics makes it absolutely necessary that the text, commentaries, and the ritual itself are discussed and disputed openly and honestly, especially at this time when the ritual is performed in a place where the power of the world is concentrated: Washington DC. The organizers are very conscious of this political acupuncture point when they write, “The Kalachakra for World Peace 2011 will unfold in a world capital where local actions deeply and globally affect the lives of so many.”

A statement from the Capital Area Tibetan Association, which is putting on the event, also stressed the significance of having it in Washington: “If there is a seed of spirituality in this very city, that seed when it grows is bound to have an effect.” The ritual is to be carried out in the Verizon Center approximately mid-way between the White House and the US Capitol Buildings, just a short stroll from the National Mall.

A Washington Post article states, “Many still see huge significance in his [the Dalai Lama’s] picking the capital of the world’s superpower as the place for a ritual about how to reconcile disunity. Some believe the Kalachakra’s hopeful explanation about how to deal with differences literally will spread through meditators to area bigwigs coping with national debt, wars, environmental disasters and terrorism.”

The article cites Clark Strand, former editor of Tricycle, a Buddhist magazine: “The most significant thing about this is the time and place, 10 years after 9/11, and in a place where big decisions are being made about the planet.”

Yes,10 years after 9/11! But what did happen exactly ten years before 9/11? In 1991 in New York City a so-called Kalachakra Sand Mandala was constructed, then destroyed by the Dalai Lama, and the sand was poured into the water near the World Trade Center. Two years later in 1993 another Wheel of Time (Kalachakra) Sand Mandala was built by Tibetan Monks in the lobby of Tower One. For over thirty days, many of the World Trade Center workers and visitors were invited to participate during the construction of this Mandala. Although these coincidences may be accidental, they prove that these two Kalachakra events were not a remedy for “national debt, wars, environmental disasters and terrorism.” If they did have any magical effect at all, it was to produce exactly the opposite.

Confession of an Unfaithful Bride

1. Confession of an unfaithful Bride:

July 1 2014 Pope Paul and the Dalai Lama and African Bishop

Failure of the Church in the United States of America to maintain its historic roots as a Free Church purchased by the blood of martyrs under the direct authority of the LORD Jesus Christ of Nazareth after 178 years, when in 1954 Senator Lyndon Baines Johnson sponsored a bill establishing the 501 (c) 3 in order to silence the Church selling our eternal inheritance for temporal government favor. The US Government as any temporal power is subject to moral corruption and now actively supports Tibetan Buddhism, and sponsors the Dalai Lama as an instrument of its global political agenda. He was the first Buddhist leader to open the US Senate in prayer and as God-King of Tibet met with every President since Franklin D. Roosevelt. He consults the Nechung Oracle on a regular basis who has met with many leaders in Washington, DC. Leviticus 19:31. The Dalai Lama was the key speaker at the Second Anniversary of September 11, 2001 at the National Cathedral and awarded the Congressional Gold Medal, the country’s highest civilian honor. Joel 2:12-17; Rev. 18:1-8.

In 1993, the Roman Catholic and Tibetan monastics secretly met in Chicago at the Parliament of the World’s Religions. Since then, Catholic Universities, Cathedrals, and Centers have sponsored conferences with the Dalai Lama and or the building of sand mandalas in the United States opening the door to idolatry and the ritual spiritual defilement of the land. They have been joined by Episcopalian, Methodist, Baptist, Moravian, Presbyterian, and other denominations in hosting Tibetan Buddhist lamas who have built sand mandalas in their chapels, hosted the Buddhist Blood Relics, or conducted Tibetan Buddhist healing rituals which directly violate the commandment “You shall have no other gods before Me.” Exodus 20:3; 2 Chronicles 36:14; Revelation 3:16-19; 17:1-18.

Over the last twenty five years, the Dalai Lama has been funded as a modern Balaam to speak in venues to vast numbers of students and adults in institutions which were initially founded to train pastors and missionaries to take the Gospel to the ends of the earth. We have failed to honor the fathers and mothers of the faith and have not attended to our duty to do the work of God in our generation and have failed as stewards to faithfully present an unadulterated Gospel of Jesus Christ to the Tibetan Buddhist world. Concurrently, the enemy has planted tantric vases in every state Capital, every high place, National Park, sacred sites, rivers, and lakes in the United States, including conducting the highest Tibetan occult ritual the Kalachakra Ceremony in the US Capitol. Leviticus 18:24, 25.
