The Maitreya Project~False Prophets Will Arise To Decieve

“For false Christ’s and false prophets will arise and show great signs and wonders, so as to deceive, if possible, even the elect.”

Background. The promise of a future Messiah is almost universal as a redemptive motif in the world’s great religions. For millions of Christians, we await the second coming of Jesus Christ in His glorious and resurrected form. In Islam it is the 12^th Imam whose advent prior to a prophesied Islamic Armageddon is the present preoccupation of President Ahminejab of Iran. Among Theravada, Mahayana, and Vajrayana (Tibetan) Buddhists, Maitreya is looked upon as the future “Buddha to whom one could turn in hope” who will descend from the Tushita heaven to earth to reign in human form as did Sakyamuni at the end of the age.

Maitreya was the object of devotion of the Maitreya Cult in the early centuries AD in Northwest India. Lewis Lancaster suggests that “the eschatological telos of the Maitreya cult was articulated relatively late in East Asia.” In Japan centering on Mount Fuji, the utopian cult of Maitreya saw him as “a divine figure whose chief function was to lead the distressed back to the “way of the eternal mother.” In Korea, he was seen as warrior, guardian, symbol of fertility, and “the spirit of possession in ecstatic religious experience,” and “the heralder of a new world.” Other royalty who claimed to be the incarnations of Maitreya included Empress Wu of China (r.684-704) and King Alaungpaya of Burma(r 1752-1760). Buddha Mi-Lo of China who one sees in Chinese restaurants and temples represented by a fat, joyful countenance with many children, considered the Oriental Santa Claus, is also widely considered “an incognito appearance of the next historical Buddha, Maitreya.”[i] Some believe the central statue of the main stupa at Borobudur in Indonesia was none other than Maitreya, the Buddha of the Future.

In Angkor Wat in Cambodia, Buddha Maitreya is included in the pantheon along with Hevajra (a Tantric deity from the 12^th and 13^th centuries A.D.), Garuda (a Hindu mythological being with a bird’s head), Lokesvara and Laksmi. Strangely many of “the titles all continue with the word mahanatha, ‘the great savior.’” It was not unusual to hear “Come, Maitreya, come!” As Christians we know our heart cry for centuries has been the certain hope of the Messiah’s return, “Maranatha, Come quickly, LORD Jesus.” Other translations are, “Our LORD has come!”, “Our LORD is coming!” or “Our LORD come!” “Most expositors still regard the Jerusalem church as the most likely source of the phrase. (Colin Brown) The Apostle Paul encourages believers to live in the hope of His coming. “For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trumpet of God; and ‘the dead in Christ shall rise first.” (I Thess. 4:16-18). We are not to grieve as the heathen “who have no hope.”

In Thailand, there is a prophecy about the coming of Maitreya Buddha which has been the source of much controversy within Buddhist as well as Christian circles. John R. Davis in Poles Apart? Contextualizing the Gospel spoke of a document which according to an assistant professor at Chiengmai University was “written in the local language of the Old Kingdom located at the present Chiengmai.” The professor reading the document concluded that it was written “before the present Thailand was established. Therefore it is impossible that the writer of this document was influenced by Christianity.” The Thai Pastor wrote:

“This unpublished document which I received from my father was a copy of the Buddhist Scriptures placed at Pra-sing Temple at Chiengmai. In one section of this document which is part of Buddha’s prophecy, a certain old Brahman asked the Buddha about how to be saved from sin. The Buddha answered that regardless of how many laws you have kept, or even if you pray five times a day, you shall not be saved. Buddha continues saying that sin is too great to be washed away; even though I become a hermit, for more than eight ‘A-song-kai’ or am reborn for another ten times, I shall not be saved. The Brahman asked what Mettay’s character is. The Buddha answered that in his hands and feet are wounds, his side has wound which was pierced and his forehead is full of scars from wounds. He is the gold ship to carry you to heaven where you will find the “Tri-pra’ (the Crystal Triune god). Thus, give up following the old way. A spirit from heaven will come and dwell in your heart by which you will overcome your enemies from both four and eight directions.”

Whether the sutra is the actual recorded saying of the Buddha, or as some Buddhists claim, a conspiracy to Buddhaize Christianity, it reveals the longing of humanity’s heart for a Messiah. “At the scene of the Buddha’s death, Buddha is reported to have said,

“I am not the first Buddha who came upon earth, nor shall I be the last. In due time another Buddha will arise in this world, a holy one, a supremely enlightened one, endowed with wisdom in conduct, auspicious, knowing the universe, an incomparable leader of men, a master of angels and mortals. He will proclaim a religious life, wholly perfect and pure; such as I now proclaim… He will be known as Mettaya, which means “he whose name is kindness.”

It is this messianic hope that is the basis of the construction of the Maitreya Project and also the image that the present XIV Dalai Lama of Tibet taps into. He publicly claims to be the incarnation of Avalokitsevara, the patron deity of Tibet whose assignment it is to protect the Buddhist Dharma in the interim between Sakyamuni and prepare for the coming of Maitreya. He often says that his religion is kindness. To millions of his followers he is the living Buddha of this age. One Catholic in California attending his talk at Loyola Marymount, a Catholic University echoes the public opinion, ‘he is the closest thing in our present day to what one would call a hero.’ Just recently, Maria Schwarzenegger, a professed Catholic and the First Lady of California journeyed to Dharamsala, India with her Governor husband’s permission and invited the Dalai Lama to speak at the California Women’s Conference who just led 13,000 women in a meditation in Long Beach, California September 2006.

For us as Christians the impending construction of this ‘Buddhist Mecca’ represents one of the greatest global spiritual challenges to Christianity in the new millennium. How do we approach this? Stanley Mooneyham at one time Director of World Vision International (according to Davis) just prior to fall of Cambodia‘ centered in on Christ as the fulfillment of the messianic prophecies of Mettaya (Maitreya) which are also known in China, Thailand, and Cambodia.’ Some have even gone as far as replacing the word Jesus Christ with Mettreya “the Buddha of the end-of-all-times of this world that will make everything new.” [ii] Sadly, contextualization and syncretism are becoming almost interchangeable as terms, leaving Christians and Buddhists confused and divided. In a conversation with Videsh, a Thai Buddhist monk, he stated that while he was actually interested in considering becoming a Christian, he had problems with symbols like that of the Christian cross emerging out of the Lotus. He said, “Let the Cross stand alone for Christ and the Lotus for Buddhism.” God has stated that ‘He will not share His glory with another or give His praise to graven images.’ Should we not stand expressly upon the doctrines and iconic images that have been the expressions of the historic Christian faith?

Buddhism’s doctrine of assimilation may one day be found to be to blame for the confusion about the future coming Maitreya. Dr. John M.L. Young believed that Buddhism was changed early on by an encounter with Nestorian Christianity in China wherein a Buddhist, impressed by the claims of Christianity, nonetheless rejected the faith, but incorporated elements that he found attractive such as heaven, the idea of grace, and deity. Therefore, an unlikely departure from the Buddha’s early teachings which did not hold to a belief in an Almighty God of Creation were introduced by giving Amitabha, the authority as the “gracious Buddha of the Western Paradise and Infinite Light” to bestow upon his followers the grace of chanting the Nembutsu once to enter into heaven, which was still lower than nirvana however. Would it be possible that they also liked the glorious idea of the return of the Messiah, now the Mahanatha, Come Maitreya Come? theme “borrowed” from the Christian faith, not unlike they did from the Hindus, the God of the sun, the god of the moon, other Hindu gods, the Taoist, the Shinto gods, in China, Korea and Japan, or Tibet for that matter? What does it matter when you don’t have an Almighty, Holy God to fear?

Imagine living prior to the construction of the Islamic pilgrimage site in Mecca. That’s the moment we find ourselves in this day. Over 5,000,000 Moslems make a pilgrimage (hajj) to Mecca every year. And they must be Moslems. In the case of the Maitreya project, all will be welcome. When one thinks of the principality the “Prince of Greece” contending for the kingdom of Greece, we might ask, “Who is the principality contending for the control of Uttar Pradesh?” Over 300,000 people live in proximity to the 750 acre site for the Maitreya Project in Kushinagar. The site was first imagined by a Tibetan Buddhist Lama Thubten Yeshe, “who first expressed his wish to build a huge Maitreya statue” in Bodhgaya in 1982.” [iii] Then in 1995, Lama Zopa Rinpoche hoped for a statue about 171 feet high. Then a Taiwanese architect Mr. C.Y. Lee said it was far too small and so now the Maitreya Project led by Peter Kedge will incorporate a 152.4 meter (500 foot) tall nickel-aluminum bronze statue of Maitreya Buddha seated on a Lion Throne built to last 1,000 years. In comparison, the Statue of Liberty in New York would only come up to Maitreya’s knee.

The interior of the statue will house over 1,330,000 Buddhist objects of worship (idols) including the relics from the blood relic tour which is traversing the world raising $200,000,000 for the project. The land will be further defiled by over 100,000 stupas. Strangely, the say, “They’re keen to develop the tree of life within this center.” (Mandala Magazine Special Report on the Maitreya Project Nov/Dec 2000). Why did they pick this term is a question worth pondering. The Dutch monk Marcel Bertels who is the director of the Maitreya Project said, “The Hindus in general have very similar explanations in their scriptures such as the Bhavagad Gita in relation to the benefits of the holy objects, so they support the project wholeheartedly.” Sadly, in America when we objected to the Buddhist relics being shown in a Presbyterian Church on biblical grounds, the Pastor vigorously disagreed. A Catholic priest in Los Angeles, off the record said, “I would worship the relics of any holy person, Buddhist or Christian.” We asked them the same question our LORD Jesus asked, “How can you serve two masters?”

Originally, the project was to be built in Bodh Gaya on a 40 acres located in the state of Bihar, the site of the Buddha’s enlightenment and finished by 2005. Because of environmental and political considerations, it was moved to Uttar Pradesh to a site of 750 acres in Kushinagar, the site of the Buddha’s death. It is said that he died from dysentery after consuming the flesh of a wild boar. So in some ways one might say they picked the cremation ground for the site of the Maitreya Project.

They will be building a number of hotels, temples, lecture halls, meditation halls, a university, monastery, nunnery, international hospital, pilgrim housing and food establishments to meet the requirements of those visiting the site. Millions of dollars are being raised from Buddhists all over the world who believe that they will accumulate great merit from giving to the Project. Last year the Dalai Lama met with CEO’s in Sun Valley, Idaho that represented trillions of dollars worth of assets; among them one of his disciples, Steve Wynn, the Nevada gambling scion who supports the Dalai Lama fiscally. Besides his well-known Hollywood following such as Richard Gere and Sharon Stone to name a few, his list of wealthy contributors continues to grow, including the US government who provides full secret service protection at its citizen’s expense, not to mention the CIA stipend that supposedly was paid to him personally in the past. As Avalokitsevara, the XIV Dalai Lama continues to bless Tantric masters and Sherab Pal, the emanation of the invincible conqueror Maitreya”[iv] to establish a Tantric throne for the Adi Buddha, the universal religious emperor. They also have promoted the benefits of the Maitreya Project to the Indian government on the basis of its affect on the local economy in terms of “health, education, long-term employment, technology, trade, tourism, agriculture, and other infrastructure services” (pg. 44).

Why does the Maitreya Project as a stronghold need to be dealt with in prayer by God’s people?

The Maitreya Project is one of the darkest provocations against God in this age. One is reminded of another King of old. “Thus Ahab did more to provoke the LORD God of Israel than all the kings of Israel who were before him.” (I Kings 16:33) He forsaked God and His commandments and followed after the Baals.

The Dalai Lama prayed in Pasadena and wherever he goes, “This ground anointed with incense and strewn with flowers, adorned with Mt. Meru, the four continents, sun and moon, I offer visualized as a Buddha realm. May all migrators enjoy this completely pure realm.” BUT, this is evil that this false priest brings on the nations. He has been given authority that does not belong to him. This land is not the Buddha’s realm. It has been purchased with a price by the blood of Jesus Christ of Nazareth.

“Then the devil, taking Him up on a high mountain, showed Him all the kingdoms of the world in a moment of time. And the devil said to Him, “all this authority I will give You, and their glory; for this has been delivered to me, and I give it to whomever I wish. Therefore, if You will worship me, all will be Yours.”

And Jesus answered and said to him, “Get behind Me, Satan! For it is written, ‘You shall worship the LORD your God and Him only you shall serve.” (Luke 4:5-8) The point being that there is only ONE GOD, the LORD JESUS CHRIST of Nazareth who came in the flesh, was crucified for our sins, died, was buried, and resurrected on the Third Day and now sits on the Throne in heaven at the right hand of Father God awaiting the Day of Judgment.

“Thus says the LORD God of Israel, ‘Tell the man who sent you to me, thus says the LORD, ‘Behold I bring evil on this place and on its inhabitants, even all the words of the book which the King of Judah has read. Because they have forsaken Me, and have burned incense to other gods that they might provoke Me to anger with all the work of their hands, therefore My wrath burns against this place, and it shall not be quenched.” (II Kings 22:15-17).

Righteousness and Justice are the foundation of His throne (Psalm 97: 2).

He has declared that “all be put to shame who serve carved images, who boast of idols” Ps. 97: 7.

It is expressly forbidden in the Ten Commandments to make any graven images.

God is coming to judge the earth, its inhabitants and all their works. “He shall judge the world with righteousness and the peoples with His truth.” (Psalm 96:13) We are called to encourage all men, women and children to turn to Jesus Christ as the only way in this last hour, compelling them to forsake their idols, and enter into the ark of Jesus Christ’s salvation.

“The prohibition against serving other gods and the prohibition against making idols are linked already in the Decalogue(Exodus 20:3f; Deut. 5:7f).”

“Idols are abominations, behind which stand demonic powers (daimona), with which one cannot come into contact without moving God to wrath (Deu. 32:16f;21).[v]

The punishment for making idols and worshipping them is severe. Pray against the completion of the Maitreya Project, that more human beings may not be seduced into the way of idolatry by the construction of what would become a modern wonder of the world not unlike the Colossus of Rhodes. “Judgment sprouts like poisonous weeds in the furrows of the field” (Hosea 10:4).

Pray the LORD of the Harvest thrust laborers into the fields to bring in a harvest of Buddhist souls before the completion of this abomination and the spread of the defilement of idolatry around the globe. Millions are slated to visit this after its opening in 2010. They will come from all over the world where they worship Maitreya, an anti-Christ. They will come from Israel, Thailand, Burma, China, Tibet, Korea, Japan, Cambodia, Laos, Indonesia, India, Nepal, Bhutan, Mongolia, Russia, Europe, the United States, Canada, Mexico, Africa, and South America. It will be a sad day for India and the world.

Remember, “Israel often succumbed to the temptation to open the doors to these powers, especially in when the rise of the Babylonian and Assyrian empires gave the impression that their gods were more powerful than the God of Israel (Isaiah 36:19f). Jer. 44:15-19 and Ezekiel 8 give graphic and terrible pictures of how widely heathen idol worship had spread in Israel in their day. The prophetic image to Israel was that the misfortune which had overtaken the people was God’s punishment for falling away from Yahweh and compromising with the heathen cultures (Is. 10:11; Jer 9:13-16; Ez. 8:17f). The call to repentance combined a demand for right behavior towards one’s neighbor (Amos 5:14;f; Hosea 4:1ff; Isa 1:15ff) with the demand to turn away from false gods (Hos. 14:8, Ez. 8:10; 1 Chron 16:26; II Chron. 25:15/Hosea 8:4f, 13:2; Jer.14:22; Hab2:18f) (Colin Brown, pg. 284).

Christians must be warned not to be snared and led astray by idolatry (I Cor. 5:10f;10:7-10,14-22).

Warn the Jews who are following after the Dalai Lama in India and Tibetan Buddhism. “Hear, O Israel, the LORD our God, the LORD is one! You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength.” (Deu. 6:5)

“You shall not go after other gods, the gods of the peoples who are all around you (for the LORD your God is a jealous God among you), lest the anger of the LORD your God be aroused against you and destroy you from the face of the earth.” (Deu. 6:14).

Tibetan Buddhism is built on the Tantric subjugation of women and is evidenced by the Maitreya Buddha sitting on a Lion Throne and his feet on top of the Lotus, symbolic of the woman’s vagina.

An encouragement to the Body of Christ of the power of prayer. As a former Buddhist member of the Nichiren Shoshu Sect, I went on pilgrimage to the Sho-Hondo, the head temple Daisekiji near Mt. Fuji that was built to last 10,000 years at the cost of $100,000,000 in 1972. Over 12,000 Buddhists made pilgrimage there on a daily basis from around the world. The 500 priests were divided as to where the power for the idol came from. 250 believed the idol had the power, whereas 250 believed it came from something like a Christian god. Division entered the ranks of the priesthood and the eleven million member powerful lay organization, the Soka Gakkai led by Daisaku Ikeda. The High priest excommunicated all the members and paid $30,000,000 and bulldozed the $100,000,000 temple which is no more. God will not share His glory with another or give His praise to idols.

A sister wrote, “Remember the God who Reigns. Memorize biblical promises of victory: Exodus 14:13-14, 23:20-22; Deuteronomy 31:6; Joshua 1:9; 2 Chronicles 20:15, 17, 22; 1 Corinthians 15:57; Romans 8:37. Remember, these Scripture swords are the offensive part of your armor. Affirm them whenever you face spiritual battles, and you will experience the triumph of the God who reigns.”

Remember we are seated in heavenly places far above ALL principalities and powers seated with our LORD Jesus Christ. Remind the enemy of his fate and that one day all that he has done will be brought to remembrance at the great White Throne of Judgment. Till then let us pray for one another that we prosper in the harvest of souls, stand strong in the face of persecution, remaining faithful, holding fast to the promises of the ONE who said I will never leave you nor forsake you, and growing in His likeness.

May God bring millions of Buddhists to a saving knowledge of His Son Jesus Christ, and bless and preserve you and your families in the labors you undertake for His glory.

High Holy Days and Sand Mandala at Pico Union Project

Note: I wrote this letter to Craig Taubman at Pico Union Project hoping to get a response on my concerns about his invitation to Tibetan lamas to build a sand mandala during the High Holy Days. I also expressed my objections to the questionable interfaith model he is building and desires to see reproduced across the nation.

Dear Craig,

My name is James Stephens. I came across your website recently and was quite interested in your efforts to restore Sinai Synagogue, the historic site of Los Angeles’ first Synagogue. At the same time, I was quite dismayed to hear that you had invited Tibetan Buddhist lamas to build a sand mandala in the midst of the High Holy Days.

Why might you ask? As a former devout Buddhist of fourteen years and now a follower of Yeshua Ha’Moshiach and a Torah observant believer, I found myself grieved knowing much about the intent of the lama’s ritual having thoroughly studied it for over 25 years.

First of all, I do believe in the command to love one’s neighbor as thyself. To genuinely love one’s neighbor, one must be truthful. You have children. You know that they venture into areas which can cause them great harm. We tell them, “Don’t touch the oven. You’ll get burned. It’s hot.” As they grow older, they make their own decisions and often reap the blessings or pay the consequences for their poor choices.

I love the lyrics composed by Paul Simon, “Fools,” said I, “you do not know, Silence like a cancer grows/ Hear my words that I might teach you/Take my arms that I might reach you” /But my words like silent raindrops fell/ And echoed in the wells of silence./ And the people bowed and prayed/to the Neon god they made/and the sign flashed out its warning/in the words that it was forming/and the sign said, “The words of the prophets are written on the subway walls/And tenement halls/And whispered in the sound of silence.”

Etched over the arch of one of the entries to LA City Hall the words of King Solomon remind us like those prophets, “Righteousness exalteth a nation: but sin is a reproach to any people” (Proverbs 14:34). Matthew Henry commenting on this wisdom said, “An upright man will venture the displeasure of the greatest to bring truth to light.”

Personally, I know little about your life story except that which I gleaned after visiting your site. I did read that you like to hear others stories. As a former Buddhist and graduate of a Buddhist institution, married to a Messianic Jewish wife whose father was a holocaust survivor, I clearly recognize the barriers that exist between human beings because of their ethnic and religious make-up. I also recognize that it takes courage and time to get to know one’s neighbor, neighbors that often come from very different backgrounds.

In 1993, I attended the World Parliament of Religions in Chicago in order to get a face to face perspective on other’s beliefs and a sense of who they were, what their story was. For ten days, I intently listened and asked questions about their beliefs. While talking with a Burmese Buddhist monk, we quickly cleared the air about the use of politically correct religious speech and agreed that it was often harmful to genuine understanding. We agreed that Buddhism and Christianity both held to exclusive religious points of view and were diametrically opposed to one another. With clear boundaries established, we could respect one another and talk about our fundamental issues as human beings.

One Buddhist monk at Wat Thai Temple in North Hollywood invited me inside the temple and asked me to “tell him the story of creation.” He even asked me to read the Scriptures to him in between his interaction with worshippers in his context.

During the Ten Days of Awe, I pulled out an old sermon entitled, “The Necessity of Self-Examination” by Jonathan Edwards, one of America’s greatest theologians. It was based upon his meditations on Psalm 139 verses 23-24. “Search me O God, and know my heart; try me, and know my thoughts; and see if there be any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.” I love King David, a man of God’s own heart, a shepherd boy who listened intently to God, and as any human is capable of, ended up making some very tragic choices. His adultery and pre-meditated murder of his loyal commander Uriah was the first time I wept reading the Bible. I was grieved. Our spiritual leaders are supposed to hold to the highest standards, and here he falls. He confesses, “Against Thee and Thee only have I sinned and done this evil in Your sight.”

Edwards shines the looking glass on our hearts and observes, “Many are very careful that they do not proceed in mistakes, where their temporal interest is concerned. They will be strictly careful that they be not led on blindfold in the bargains which they make: in their traffic one with another, they are careful to have their eyes about them and to see that they go safely in these cases; and why not, where the interest of their soul is concerned?”

“Good fences make good neighbors.” Old proverbs are the currency of years of experience. When the young King Rehoboam went his own way, neglecting the counsel of his elders and just listening to those in his new inner circle, he went astray. He did not finish well. One quote of Rabbi David Wolpe resonated with me when I read Ellul’s Jewels, “Our darkness and sins are part of us, stitched into our soul.” Jeremiah the prophet wrote, “The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked, who can know it? I the LORD search the heart, I try the reins, even to give every man according to his ways, and according to the fruit of his doings.” (Jeremiah 17:9-10).

When I was at the Parliament, there were many experimental exercises in Interfaith worship. Exercises that I as a former Buddhist knew intimately and now as a follower of Yeshua Ha’Moshiach (Jesus Christ) could not embrace. I witnessed persons from other faiths who chose not to be involved as well because of their religious convictions. They were respectful, but they also were in a temporary venue which had established certain ground rules. Unfortunately, even then participants were encouraged to sign “The Declaration of a Global Ethic” which read that “we embrace the practices of all the world’s religions.” From my extensive past experience of all sorts of religious practices, I could not sign it as a follower of Yeshua Ha’Moshiach.

All ground is not holy ground. When a Tibetan Buddhist builds a sand mandala, they conduct rituals to bind demons from entering them and subjugate all other gods under their dominion. It is a religious portal, a palace, home to 722 deities depending on the type of mandala. Deities we would call fallen angels. In the dissolution ceremony the sand that is given to others carries with it the incantations of the Lamas. In the past, the sand mandalas were constructed with the blood of human sacrifices. According to John Huntington from Ohio State University and curator of the Himalayan Art Collection, “the most efficacious skull used in the mandalas were the skull of a sixteen year old virgin.” These are not my opinions, but are based upon interviews with Lamas at Pacific Asia Museum who construct the mandalas and from extensive reading of Buddhist documents as well. To the public the mandalas are intriguing works of art. Is what I say true?

As a watchman, someone who has knowledge of various practices, it is my duty to warn others, especially leaders, lest the blood be on my own hands (Ezekiel 33). I do not want to displease Hashem in anyway. Tibetans are often cheerful and amiable people. I have hosted Tibetan Christians in our home and have also been asked by Tibetan Buddhists for the Scriptures and even went as far as I delivering a copy to Kopan Gompa, a Tibetan Buddhist temple outside of Kathmandu, Nepal.

You were quoted as saying that you wanted to create, “neutral ground in which to work on interfaith connections and collaboration between Jews, Christians, Muslims and others without any limitation or ground rules.” That sounds like a prescription for a dangerous fall. One must ask oneself, “What am I seeking to accomplish when I assimilate other religion’s practices into my daily life?” While God has given man free will, Is it just to take others on your own personal quest? It is certain that teachers bear greater judgment.

Boundaries are critical. When an epidemic is being treated, the one treating the disease must be careful lest he become a victim. You were quoted in an article for JTA as saying, “You can’t expect the world to love each other if you can’t model it in your houses of worship. At such point in time that our houses of worship become more open, on that day, God will be one and God’s name will be one. It’s only at that point that it can happen.”

My opinion is not what is important here in response. God said through His prophet Isaiah, “I am the LORD, that is my name! I will not yield my glory to another or my praise to idols” (Isaiah 42:8). “God does not tolerate rivals (Nahum 1:2) Jamieson-Faucet and Brown comment, “We are jealous only of those we love: a husband, of a wife; a king of his subject’s loyalty. God is jealous of men because He loves them. God will not bear a rival in His claims on them.”

The most important question to be answered is “What does the LORD require of me? “To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God” (Micah 6:8; Jeremiah 7:5-7; Leviticus 19:33-34). You were quoted as saying, “Let people model it in their own houses of worship.” My question is, “Why bring into one place every religious practice and belief?” The LORD said, “When you enter the land the LORD your God is giving you, be very careful not to imitate the detestable customs of the nations living there” (Deuteronomy 18:9). King Solomon said, “There is a way which seems right to a man, but its end is death.” Even then, being the wisest man on earth, did he not fall because he took on so many wives and accommodated their religious practices, building high places and idols for each of them to practice their faith? It may be that it is time to remember what Moses was given by Adonai on Mount Sinai, the original gathering place lest we replace Him with our own modern day version of the Golden Calf.

“For they went and served other gods and worshipped them, gods that they did not know and that He had not given to them. And the LORD uprooted them from their land in anger, in wrath, and in great indignation, and cast them into another land, as it is this day.” (Deuteronomy 29:26).

“Cursed is the one who makes a carved or molded image, an abomination to the LORD, the work of the hands of a craftsman, and set it up in secret. And all the people shall say, Amen.” (Deuteronomy 27:15).

And yet if we repent, He waits for us to return to Him and promises,

“And if you faithfully obey the voice of the Lord your God, being careful to do all his commandments that I command you today, the Lord your God will set you high above all the nations of the earth. 2 And all these blessings shall come upon you and overtake you, if you obey the voice of the Lord your God” (Deuteronomy 28:1-2).

3 Thou shalt have no other gods before me.

4 Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth:

6 And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments.

In a desire to pursue what is good and pure, and seeking to please YHWH in every aspect of my life, both public and private, I was lead to an extensive treatment on sexuality from a Judaeo-Christian perspective that wrestles on a very deep Biblical level with the issues that have confronted the human race for thousands of years. It was written by Richard M. Davidson, the J.N. Andrews Professor of Old Testament Interpretation at Andrews University. One of his extensive footnotes seemed to provide an answer to my quest to find a model to work on getting my own internal house in order. The entire work of 844 pages is encyclopedic in its scope, e.g., the bibliography in itself is 140 pages.

“The hymnic/Wisdom literature of the OT give very practical steps for availing oneself of empowering divine grace to preserve moral purity in both thought and action. Although this material is more pastoral and application-oriented than exegetical, I include it here because the theology of the hymnic/Wisdom literature is in fact oriented toward the practical, everyday life, presenting wisdom as practical advice on how to succeed in life.

Here is a summary of steps toward moral integrity that have emerged from my study of this literature:

(1) daily consecration and prayer for God to create a pure heart (Ps 51:12 [ET 51:10]);

(2) trusting in God’s keeping power by faith (Prov 3:5-6);

(3)meditation upon the character of God and focusing upon pure thoughts (Ps 16:8; Prov 23:7);

(4) avoiding situations that contain temptations to impurity (Prov 5:8);

(5) constant “watchfulness” (Prov 4:23,26) [NASB]; 8:34;

(6)earnest prayer and claiming of God’s promises (Prov 2:1-6, 16);

(7) dependence upon the abiding influence of the Holy Spirit (Ps 51:13 [ET 51:11];143:10;Prov 1:23);

(8) diligent study and internalizing of the word (Ps 119:9,11; Prov 2:1-13; 6:20-24; 7:2-3);

(9)cultivating a sense of God’s presence and the certainty of future judgment (Ps 139:7; Prov 2:18-19;5:3–4,20-22);

(10)cultivating a sense of the ennobling power of pure thoughts (Prov 22:11);

(11) cultivating intimacy and sexual satisfaction with one’s own spouse (Prov 5:15-19);

and

(12) realizing the cosmic conflict in which the enemy “stalks” victims (Prov 6:26).

The hymnic/Wisdom literature presents these twelve steps in order that the wise—the ones who follow these steps—
may experience success in the path of moral integrity.”

Sacred Geography The Ebstorf Map and the Tibetan Sand Mandala

Over breakfast this morning, while reading “Mapmaking in the World” in a History of World Societies, my attention was riveted on the Ebstorf Map which was drawn in the thirteenth century. Originally, it was drawn on thirty sheets of vellum and measured about 12 feet in diameter. The original did not survive a bombing of Hanover, Germany in 1943 during WWII. Fortunately, extensive photographs had been taken of it prior to that. What caught my attention was the shape of this map and its orientation. It immediately reminded me of Elaine Robson’s artist Gurme’s rendition of the Christian wheel of existence which was held by Yamantaka, the Tibetan god of death, whose grasp was broken by the sacrificial death of Jesus Christ on the cross.

The Ebstorf Map is drawn as a circle. Earlier, when I was looking at one of the oldest examples of map making in existence, I was reminded of the Cyrus Cylinder (587 B.C.), because the map was stamped in clay and surrounded by cuneiform inscriptions. The map was dated about 600 A.D. and so was probably made around the same time. The Babylonian world map was drawn in a circular form with an outer band which looked much like the cremation fields (the world) in the Tibetan sand mandala which were made in the 7th century AD.

The Ebstorf Map while not drawn to scale, represents a Christian view of the known world at the time. Outside the circle at the top which faces East is the face of Jesus Christ, on the bottom of the circle, facing West, are the feet of Jesus, on the north and south are His hands stretched out. In the center of the map is Jerusalem with a faceless Jesus sitting on the throne, which must represent His yet revealed triumphal resurrected self. “Jerusalem occupies the center of the map to represent the place of Jesus’s death as the center of the Christian world. The Ebstorf Map..was intended to convey a religious message, a declaration of faith.”

As I looked at it, all the images of the Tibetan Buddhist sand mandala kept popping up in my mind. Satan, disguised as an angel of light, always attempting to dethrone, the King of kings, the LORD of lords, taking center stage. The Tibetan Buddhist religious blueprint, complete with gods and goddesses, palaces, and cremation fields. The Ebstorf Map on the other hand tells the story of Jesus Christ, the one True God, shows Adam and Eve being tempted in the garden by the serpent, the serpent finally defeated by the Messiah. It shows the world surrounded by the ocean.

It will take more time to digest the implications, but what I found encouraging, was the fact that the earliest attempts at map making focused upon making Jesus the center of everything and that the mandala seems to be nothing more than one more counterfeit in an attempt to usurp the glory that belongs to no other than the Messiah, Yeshua, who came to destroy the works of the Devil and will not share His glory with another.

Remembering Wally Tope: A Martyr on American Soil

Martyred for his faith during the 1992 Los Angeles Riots. In Remembrance of his passing into glory twenty years ago on November 24, 1993 after suffering eighteen months in a coma.

In May 1992, a friend of ours, Wally Tope was dramatically struck down in the prime of his life by two looters he was preaching to in the L.A. Riots. For three days no one knew of his whereabouts and then one Sunday afternoon, I received a call from hospital officials who had found my business card in his personal effects.

They asked, “Are you James Stephens?”

“Do you know Wally Tope?”

“Yes,” I replied. “Why?”

“He’s been hurt badly. Would you mind coming down and identifying him?”

“Certainly.” I was in shock. It seemed that just days before we had been talking about his latest research project on Tibetan Buddhism and the apologetic he was working on.

The next 48 hours were among the most difficult hours I recall in my life. Awaking at 2:00am, I began chronicling the damage in my journal, “For the last two days in Los Angeles there have been over 42 people killed, 1700 people injured; 300 on the critical list, over 3,000 separate fires set to structures, and over $500,000,000 worth of damage to property, not including the tremendous shame of looting, taking of innocent blood, and political opportunism. God has allowed judgment of this City of Los Angeles & County and country rightly.”

The streets of Los Angeles had been deserted because of martial law and the curfew. As I drove, it was through mostly deserted eerie smoke filled streets passing barricades to the hospital where he lay. I took the elevator up to intensive care, not knowing what I would find. The bright flourescent lights of the room strangely illuminated the partially shrouded body of what appeared to be Wally Tope who laid in an unfamiliar stone silence on the narrow hospital bed. “Yes. It is Wally.” I provided a positive identification of his body. From that first moment when I knew it was Wally, I felt I was standing in the presence of one of the first martyrs on American soil. I witnessed firsthand the price of preaching the Gospel and the graphic and brutal hostility of the world to the redeeming truth of Jesus.

Unconscious, black and blue from the blows he received on his head, swollen almost beyond recognition, his brother now arrived and tearfully pulled back the sheets to look at his legs where more bruises were applied by his attackers after being struck on the head and falling to the ground at a Sav’ On Drug in Hollywood. As we spent time in the room before Wally’s body his brother wrestled with his grief attempting to make sense of this tragedy. The old hymn raced through my mind, “By the blood of burning martyrs, Jesus’ bloody feet I track.” Was this Wally, or was it the light of Jesus now in this man I saw? A witness fulfilling the sufferings of Jesus. Eighteen months later never having regained consciousness, he left this world into the presence of Jesus, where he will receive a martyr’s crown.

The footprint of the legacy that Wally left behind is immense. Well-researched, incisive, accurate, and Biblical characterized each piece of literature that he crafted to convey the Gospel to Mormon’s and Jehovah Witnesses whom he desired would know the Savior Jesus Christ. Often accompanied by one tract, “Hell, Suppose It’s True After All?” evoked a solemn warning about the price of rejecting the message of the Messiah.

There are lessons here for us. One couple realized that the pursuit of the America dream was not along the “King’s highway.” They choose instead to dedicate their lives to service in Asia. Wally had given up a lucrative career as a brilliant engineer and lived a frugal life operating out of a small studio apartment in Pasadena. Saving money to do the LORD’s work wherever it took him around the world. Tragedies inspire deep reflection in those who have known the afflicted or have since heard his testimony around the world. I have one of his bookshelves near my desk, a quiet monument reminding me of the cost of discipleship.

His memorial service on November 24, 1993, some twenty years ago was attended by several hundred people who had been touched by his ministry to the LORD. It can be said that he finished well and heard from His Master, “Well done, good and faithful servant.”

URGENT Gatekeepers Alert: Immediate Need for Prayer in Israel

The Dragon Boat Races will be taking place on the Sea of Galilee which is at the intersection of three borders, Israel, Syria, and Jordan. Nearby on September 3, 1260 the invading Mongolian Empire suffered a crushing defeat from the forces of the Sultan of Egypt that stopped their westward expansion and conquest of Jerusalem less than 100 miles away. The Mongolian conquest rivaled that of Alexander and Napoleon.

Over 70 Syrians were reportedly killed at the Syrian Israeli border as the civil war in Syria is heightened by proxy troops from Iran. Intercessors on the Israeli side of the border physically smelled death over the area.

They are there to intercede against the Dragon Boat Races being held on the Sea of Galilee from May 17-18, 2012 which are being held for the first time in its history. Already officials have publicly welcomed the races and Buddhist priests have painted in the spiritual eyes of the Dragon Deity. Although it seems like a harmless tourist attraction, according to an intercessor from New York City who has been an eyewitness to the races in Flushing Meadows, it is anything but. Rather it is an act of provocation against God, as they make incantations to bring in the Dragon Deity.

The following three issues which build upon one another need immediate prayer as our team is now engaged on the ground in fierce spiritual warfare.

Intercession for the Dragon Boat Race on the Sea of Galilee

Dragon Boat Racing is the fastest growing water sport, if not the largest in the world. Dragon Boat Races originated in China over 2,000 years ago to honor the memory of Qu Yuan, the famous Chinese statesman and poet who drowned himself in the Mi Lo River in protest of government corruption.

Dragon boat races are now occurring in an increasing number of cities around the world every year. Few believers are aware of dragon boat races in their community or know of its global popularity. Even fewer know of its spiritual significance and the dark forces promoting it.

Dragon Boat Race Concerns

Spiritually astute observers have been lead to conclude that dragon boat races are not as benign as they seem. The religious rituals to “awaken the dragon spirit” conducted during the opening ceremonies of dragon boat festivals may even have “end time” significance. The participation of leaders in these rituals ranging from government agencies, banks, corporations, and community organizations appear to be creating a global ceremonial platform which inadvertently acknowledge the Dragon from the book of Revelation.

This year, in the Chinese “Year of the Dragon,” the first Dragon Boat Race will be conducted in Israel on the southern shores of the Sea of Galilee, May 17-18. The area of the event is known as a stronghold of occult practices.

Israeli and American believers interceding in advance of the Dragon Boat Race have been reporting the “smell of death.” As the site is situated where the borders of Israel, Syria, and Jordan converge, it is believed that the Dragon, Satan may be seeking to ignite a war that would engulf all three nations.

An additional note: In 1996, the Dragon Boat Races were reinstituted at the same site where it all began in China. Stories abound of human sacrifices to the Dragon Deity in which no one was allowed to help other teams whose boat happened to capsize as their lives were an offering to the Dragon. In recent years, there have been tragic accidents in Malaysia and Singapore that have claimed the lives of over ten young men and one coach. Kate Middleton and Prince William were both on Dragon Boat teams. Presently, a large statue of the Red Dragon is being built in Wales which is taller than the Statue of Liberty in New York City’s Harbor.

Requested Intercession

Please pray that the church becomes more aware of the dragon boat race phenomena and its spiritual significance.
Pray that the forces of darkness associated with Dragon Boat Races are resisted globally and specifically in Israel.
Pray against the Dragon’s strategy to unleash regional war against Israel.
Pray protection for the intercessors from Israel, Asia, and the US who are praying on site.
Pray that the LORD of Hosts imparts strategies that are victorious over the dragon according to Isaiah 27:1 and Revelation 12:11.

Fifteen Buddhist “Peace Vases” Planted in Israel

In 1991 , six thousand earthen vessels were constructed by Tantric Buddhist Lamas in Bhutan, the Land of the Thunder Dragon and were filled according to occult instructions with ocean water, ground precious stones, and “nectar” bound together in balls according to ancient ritual practices. In Los Angeles, tantric substances used in skull mandalas were publicly said to contain human feces, seminal fluids, Ox fluids and other defiling substances disgraceful to mention. Vases and lotus flowers in Buddhism represent the vagina, and their goddess Kannon, or Kwan Yin, the female counterpart of Avalokitsevara, the patron deity of Tibet which is said to inhabit the Dalai Lama. The express purpose of these vases which are identified by GPS coordinates, is to establish a spiritual grid across the globe to bring peace and healing to the environment bringing it under the dominion of the Adi Buddha, the universal religious emperor. However, this idolatrous practice is an act of defilement as they have been planted all around the globe including in Indonesia to establish Buddhist dominion. They have already placed them over all the designated sites in Indonesia and the USA, including all the state capitols, all the major rivers, sacred sites, Great Lakes, Washington, DC, and on major mountain peaks as their high places. In Israel, they have buried them on two points of the Sea of Galilee, Jordan River, the Dome of the Rock, the Wailing Wall, Bethlehem, Dead Sea, Golan Heights, Haifa, Jericho at Hishams Palace, Mt. Meron, Mt. Precipice, Nazareth, Tel Aviv Yafo, West Jerusalem.

Prayer Points:

Awaken Gatekeepers in Israel to the serious consequences of allowing modern sophisticated idolatry into Israel in the guise of tourism, “peace vases”, sand mandalas and seemingly harmless rituals of the Dragon Boat Races dedicated to the Dragon deity.

Ask YHWH to pour out a spirit of intercession over Israel. Sound the shofar and warn them not to imitate the detestable practices of the nations.” And the consequence. “New gods were chosen and then the enemy was in the gates.” Prayerfully read Isaiah 28-29.

“Do not imitate the detestable practices of the nations.” (Psalm 2)

Pray for the peace of Jerusalem and Israel (Psalm 122:6-9). Long ago, during Nehemiah’s day, there were over 172 Gatekeepers raised up from Akkab, Talmon and brothers to protect Jerusalem. “They took upon themselves a curse and an oath to walk in God’s law, which was given through Moses, God’s servant, and to keep and to observe all the commandment of God our LORD, and His ordinances and His statues” (Neh. 10:29). Pray for national repentance for all the idolatry that is being allowed into the land through the disobedience of their spiritual gatekeepers and for a new generation of gatekeepers zealous for the glory of YHWH.

Ask God for forgiveness for the defilement that has been allowed into Israel and for a cleansing of the land where these items have been placed. “Howl, you shepherds, and cry! And roll yourselves in the ashes, you leaders of the flock! For the days of your slaughter and scattering are completed, and you shall fall like a choice vessel (Jeremiah 25:34). “Yisra’el has been swallowed up. They have now become among the nations as a vessel in which is no pleasure” (Hosea 8:8). Why do you displease YHWH? “Does not the potter have authority over the clay, from the same lump to make one vessel for value and another not for value (Romans 9:21)?” Beseech the LORD to be merciful in His chastening.

Pray for a Psalm 91 covering over all those who are interceding on the behalf of Israel during the Dragon Boat Races and for those in the Covenant Community who are called out ones who follow the Lamb of God. “Praise Him, O servants of the LORD” (Psalm 135).

O LORD God, YHWH, God of Hosts, who is like Thee, O Mighty LORD? Who are we to approach You, for You are HOLY, HOLY, HOLY. Only by the blood sacrifice of Yeshua our Messiah, who purchased us by His death on the cross. “Thy faithfulness surrounds Thee.” We confess with grief the shame of Israel and the false bride of Christ, who have allowed their defenses down so far as to even consider and now to invite the Dragon Boat races to Israel which opens the gate to the worship of false gods & for serving Mammon & not God.

“Thou dost rule the swelling of the sea” sadly, horrifically some are praying to a false god, who is not god, but a Dragon Deity who sits on the sea proudly usurping the glory that is due to no one but YOU. YOU who “when the waves rise, Thou dost still them. Thou Thyself didst crush Rahab like one who is slain.” “Was it not You who cut Rahab to pieces, who pierced the Dragon? (Is. 51:9). It is You YHWH “who stirs up the sea and its waves roar.” (Is. 51:15). The LORD of Hosts is His Name! They have forgotten their Maker. They are ignorant and willful. Chasten them unto repentance. Your Word has not changed.

Do not despise the Warnings of the LORD. While there are many participants who are simply involved in this event to raise money for noteable charities, we believe that the event itself is a poor choice as the underlying deity it honors is displeasing to the LORD as the Dragon as perceived by Holy Scripture is considered to be equivalent to Satan and in a Holy War against YHWH, the Torah and all that Christians and Jews stand for.

To the Israeli’s “Did not your fathers do the same so that our God brought on us and on this city, all this trouble? Yet you are adding to the wrath on Israel by profaning the Sabbath” (Nehemiah 13:18). By going against the commandments of the LORD GOD of Israel. Do not make a covenant with death. Follow Yeshua Ha’Moshiach who resisted the temptations of Satan in the desert who had promised all the kingdoms of the world if Yeshua would only bow down and worship him. Resist the Devil and he will flee. All the earth is YHWH’s and all it contains, not Satan’s. He is a dispossessed deity.

“And I saw an angel coming down from heaven having the key of the abyss and a great chain in his hand. And he laid hold of the dragon, the serpent of old who is the devil.” Revelation 20

Pray for strength for those who repel the onslaught at the gate” (Isaiah 28:6) and for the protection of the remnant of His people for whom YHWH is a glorious diadem.

Heart Shrine Relic Tour Hosted in the Old Jerusalem Quarter January 2012

In January 2012, the Old Jerusalem quarter was host to a collection of Buddhist relics collected over the last 2500 years which were displayed and worshipped by visitors. It has been touring the globe to raise funds for the construction of a 500’statue of the Maitreya Buddha in India housing over 2,000,000 idols. The exhibit in Jerusalem was specially renamed“Pearls of Compassion” although around the world it has been called “Heart Shrine Relic Tour.” These supposed “pearls” are remains sifted out of the ash left behind after the cremation of Buddhist monks which form mineral deposits which they consider holy. As Christians we are not to worship any relics, but are to worship the LORD GOD and Him alone. In a video of the ceremony in Old Jerusalem, they are held to the heads of participant’s and those who are arranging the relics to receive the deceased energy. It is forbidden by Holy Scripture to touch these defiled objects or to worship them. “You shall not make for yourselves idols, nor shall you set up for yourselves an image or a sacred pillar, nor shall you place a figured stone in your land to bow down to it; for I am the LORD your God” (Leviticus 26:1).

Pray that the eyes of the priests in Jerusalem and others hosting these objects be opened to the liberating truth of the Gospel of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, the only Messiah that can save us from our sin. “For they are a nation lacking in counsel, and there is no understanding in them. Would that they were wise, that they understood this, that they would discern their future” (Deuteronomy 32:28-29).

Pray against the influence of this defilement. “Do not defile yourselves by any of these things; for by all these the nations which I am casting out before you have become defiled. For the land had become defiled, therefore I have visited its punishment upon it, so that the land has spewed out its inhabitants.” (Leviticus 18:24,25; Deuteronomy Chapter 28).

“Do not turn to idols or make for yourselves molten gods; I am the LORD your God.” (Lev. 19:4). “I then will destroy your high places, and cut down your incense altars, and heap your remains on the remains of your idols; for My soul shall abhor you” (Leviticus 26:30).

Pray that Christians, Catholics, Jews, Buddhists, New Agers and Moslems repent for their idolatry as representatives from all these groups have attended these ceremonies. “All that is hidden shall be revealed.” (Deuteronomy 32:15-22).

Repentance from spiritism: “As for the person who turns to mediums and to spiritists, to play the harlot after them, I will also set My face against that person and will cut him off from among his people. You shall consecrate yourselves therefore and be holy, for I am the LORD your God.” (Leviticus 20:6-7).

“Let now the astrologers, those who prophesy by the stars, those who predict by the new moons, stand up and save you from what will come upon you. Behold, they have become like stubble, fire burns them; they can not deliver themselves from the power of the flame.” ~Isaiah 47:13-14

“Who has fashioned a god or cast an idol to no profit? Behold all his companions will be put to shame, for the craftsman are mere men. Let them all assemble themselves, let them stand up, let them tremble, let them together be put to shame..He feeds on ashes; a deceived heart has turned him aside. And he can not deliver himself, nor say, “Is there not a lie in my right hand?” Isaiah44:9-11,20.

In one of the opening scenes of The LORD of the Rings when Gandalf, the Wise seeks wisdom from his master about a great invisible battle, he discovers that Saruman has cast his lot in with the powers of Mordor. At one point his master calls him to join the dark forces as his “friend.”

Gandalf replies, “Tell me friend, when did Saruman the Wise abandon reason for madness?” He then engages in a spiritual battle with Saruman that he loses temporarily. Likewise, at times it seems that the Church has forgotten her Master Yeshua and sold itself into captivity. A blindness has overtaken her. Few, few, very few engaged in battle though they were warned. There is a judgment reserved for those who in time of moral crisis do not take up their cross and engage in battle.

Not one jot or tittle will pass away from YHWH’s WORD. YHWH warns those who participated in the Kalachakra in WDC, “In spite of your many sorceries,…in spite of the great power of your spells..evil will come upon you which you wil not know how to charm away.” Isaiah 47:8-15.

There is a war raging, invisible as it may be. People will one day look back and ask, “How did it come to this? Were there not warnings along the way?” Then they will remember the warnings, but it will be too late. It was a major battle. I see now with more clarity. The Tibetan Buddhist shamans and company are doing exactly as they have been programmed to do. To them, we issue warning, “The gods that did not make the heavens and the earth shall perish from the earth and from under the heavens.” (Jeremiah 10:11). You are simply pawns in an ancient battle which few of you have any clue you’re involved in. “And YHWH said to the serpent, “Because you have done this (caused mankind to eat of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, to commit the original sin which set the fall in motion), cursed are you more than all cattle, and more than every beast of the field; on your belly shall you go, and dust you shall eat all the days of your life (he will be cast into the everlasting lake of fire reserved for Satan and his rebellious angels). And I will put enmity beween you and the woman, and between your seed and her seed; He shall bruise (crush) you on the head, and you shall bruise him on the heal.” Genesis 3:14.

When I read your public Tweets during the Kalachakra speaking of Americans as barbarians and that Vajrayana Buddhism was here to conquer” I realized that your minds are being held captive by the lies of the evil one. “And the dragon was enraged with the woman and went of to make war with the rest of her offspring, who keep the commandments of God and hold to the testimony of Jesus.” You are being used in a great battle, but do you know the score? I think not. You are religious, zealous, but zeal does not always mean we are walking in truth. This world is passing away.

Yeshua is engaged in a battle for your soul. I think of the many Tibetan Christian brothers and sisters that I have had over the years, many persecuted by other Tibetan lamas. They had forgiven them even when they marched around their home in Leh for days chanting “Death to the Christian pastor!” Dear Brother Stephen has now gone to his reward, no doubt talking to HIS MASTER YESHUA on your behalf. Fearless brothers and sisters. You are like sheep gone astray and living on the edge of eternity’s cliff. You think, and are lied to that you have many lives to figure it all out. May I just ask you to consider, “What if you only have one life? Who shall you serve? What is your life if not in service to your Creator?

“I YHWH am the Maker of all things,

Stretching out the heavens by Myself,

And spreading out the earth all alone,

Causing the omens of boasters to fail,

Making fools out of diviners,

Causing wise men to draw back,

And turning their knowledge into foolishness.

The Foolish Man Who Built His House on the Sand

“But, beloved ones, let not this one matter be hidden from you: that with YHWH, one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.”

YHWH is omnipresent, omnipotent, and omniscient over all history.

Two Tibetan lamas who were studying the Bible approached David at one point and said, “We now know why our curses don’t work against you.” David, was a bit troubled to say the least.

“You curse me?”

“Yes. We are taught to curse missionaries. But what we’ve discovered is that our curses don’t work.”

“Why?”

“We were reading the Book of Matthew and at the end your Master Jesus Christ says, “I will never leave you, nor forsake you even until the end of the age.’ Your God is more powerful than ours.”

The tragedy of the Kalachakra Ceremony is that Tibetans are worshipping Kalachakra, a time god, who is in reality, not THE TIME GOD. The reality is that there is a DAY coming which no one can escape. It is called, The DAY of the LORD. No man, woman, or child. No powerful shaman, no Dalai Lama, not even Lucifer can hasten the coming of that DAY. There is no one who can control time, with the exception of I AM WHO is the CREATOR. All others beings are created. I AM is the UNCREATED. He is the PERFECT ONE.

It was this Scripture that the LORD gave me when I was coming to the close of my days as a devout Buddhist. I was so convicted and not being one who would gamble his life for eternity, sought out a pastor, a businessman, and others asking how I might give my life to Jesus Christ whose fulfilled prophecies were far more numerous than any Buddhist prophecies that I’d studied as a scholar for fourteen years. Now, I think how man in Lucerne who’s built the Large Hadron Collider, the most powerful particle accelerator ever, may be creating his own demise as he toys with the elements, potentially opening a Pandora’s Box it can not close.

“But the day of YHWH shall come as a thief in the night, in which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with intense heat, and the earth and the works that are in it shall be burned up. Seeing all these are to be destroyed in this way, what kind of people ought you to be in set-apart behavior and reverence, looking for and hastening the coming of the day of Elohim, through which the heavens shall be destroyed, being set on fire, and the elements melt with intense heat! But according to His promise we wait for a renewed heavens and a renewed earth in which righteousness dwells.

So then, beloved ones, looking forward to this, do your utmost to be found by Him in peace, spotless, and blameless, and reckon the patience of our Master as deliverance…”

Yesterday, the Kalachakra closing ceremony in Washington, DC was preceded by a closed door meeting in the White House Map Room between the President of the United States and the Kalachakra Master, the XIV Dalai Lama of Tibet. Shortly following their meeting, the Kalachakra Master joined his shamans and dismantled the Kalachakra magic circle and took up all the energies into himself creating the Adi Buddha, the Universal Religious Emperor.

Begin in humility and confession. “All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God” (Romans 3) including us. Without the LORD Jesus Christ of Nazareth, we too would be lost. “Are we better than they? Not at all.” Without Christ, we deserve judgment as well. We first confess our Nation’s betrayal of the godly remnant in Israel, openly confess and repent for our Nation’s abuse of Native Americans as the host people, for the sins of Freemasonry, Skull and Bones, and abuse and betrayal of strangers, neighbors, ministers and family that has opened the door to the darkness of Tibetan Buddhism.

Meditation: Psalm 77 “The Consoling Memory of God’s Redemptive Works.”

PRAISE: “Fear God and give glory to Him, for the hour of His judgment has come; and worship Him who made heaven and earth, the sea and springs of water” (Revelation 14:7). “Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people. God Himself will be with them. And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There will be no more pain, for the former things have passed away.” (Revelation 21) Ascribe greatness to our God. (Deut. 32:4). He is the Rock. His work is perfect. Praise God. Psalm 75; 76:11, 12; 69:5-15;106:6,35,36,39-43;101:2.

Intercession to the timeless GREAT I AM. “There are giants in the land—great evil spirits of deception plan to reap a harvest” during this visit of the Dalai Lama to Washington, D.C. and Chicago. “As Christian believers, we (If “self” is crucified) are seated with Christ in heavenly places (Ephesians 1:18-22; 2:5-7) “F—A—R above all principalities and powers. In that position He wants us to use HIS AUTHORITY to “bind” and “loose” in HIS NAME, the NAME above all names, YESHUA HA’MOSHIACH, JESUS CHRIST OF NAZARETH WHO CAME IN THE FLESH, WAS CRUCIFIED AND ROSE ON THE THIRD DAY(Mt.18:18;28:18;Lk.10:18-19,Rom.16:20, 1Pet.3:22)

First, Bind the principality Avalokitsevara, the Patron Deity of Tibet Lama and Kalachakra, the “time god” and his retinue of 722 demons. Second, bind White Tara. Again bind those hidden deities such Red Tara Avalokitsevara’s empowering Consort goddess released on September 21, 2005 at the International Campaign for Tibet headquarters at a ritual mandala whose design is to seduce kings, ministers, and leaders, and thirdly bind the Principalities Vajrayogini, Chakrasamvara, and the false spirit of Maitreya.

PROCLAMATION. Psalm 7:3-16. We come to you as priests before His throne for Mercy and that the eyes of Buddhists, humanists, Hindus, secularists, scientists, atheists, backslidden Christians would be enlightened to the Truth of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and that they not be led astray by syncretistic spiritual practices and the enchantment of false messiahs of peace. CALL FORTH SALVATION for the Peoples of the Buddhist world!!. LORD, SET THE CAPTIVES FREE! We ASK for total protection under YOUR BLOOD JESUS and the SHIELD of FAITH to protect us from the Evil one (Isaiah 54:17). We believe, agree, and doubt not that “this mountain shall be MOVED! (Mk. 11:23)

We loose the Holy Spirit of God to do His convicting and redeeming work through His yielded saints and through providential occurrences and encounters, through dreams, visions, and HOLY SPIRIT visitations of those lost in darkness.

We ask for a release of GOD’s WORD to set the captives free and HIS Merciful chastening NOW, that these wicked designs, the defiled sands given to initiates and emptied into the Anacostia River in Washington, on Saturday, July 16, 2011 will not bear any fruit and that GOD would in HIS MERCY awaken many of the lost to the GRACIOUS GIFT of HIS SON JESUS CHRIST and to their unredeemed condition.

That they will recognize the vanity and futility of building their spiritual foundations on sand. That they would come to realize that the only secure foundation for their soul is to build their house upon the ROCK, YESHUA HA’MOSHIACH, JESUS CHRIST OF NAZARETH.

“Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Master, Master,’ shall enter into the reign of the heavens, but he who is doing the desire of My Father in the heavens. Many shall say to Me in that day, “Master, Master, have we not prophesied in Your Name, and cast out demons in Your Name, and done many mighty works in Your Name?

And then I shall declare to them, ‘I never knew you, depart from Me, you who work lawlessness!”

I’ve read many statements from Christians who have called the Dalai Lama a godly man. In this you greatly error. “Beware of the false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly are ravenous wolves.” You will know them by their fruits. Grapes are not gathered from thorn bushes are they, nor figs from thistles are they?” Matthew 7:15-16.

Cursed is he who places his trust in mankind, but blessed is he whose trust is in the LORD.

District of Columbia: We hold to the fact that this is a nation, although with many fault founded under GOD. Remember the covenants of our forefathers who committed themselves to serve our LORD JESUS CHRIST. Deu. 32:15-17,19-24,35;5:7;6:14-15.

Meditate DC: A series of meditative and contemplative-based events are being staged predominately by Buddhist and Hindu groups during the Dalai Lama’s visit to Washington, DC, the week of November 7 – 13, 2005. They tout Meditate DC as “being designed to introduce the Washington area population to the benefits of meditation, as well as provide direct training for those seeking to explore these transformational practices.” Jeremiah 17:10;Deu.18:9;Isaiah 55:8-9; 57:11-13

Battle for the Mind. Isaiah 59:8; Jeremiah 17:10;Acts 1:24;15:8, Job chapters 38 & 39. Pray for Christian believers in the scientific community to understand the difference and avoid syncreticism.

Remember to pray for our nations’ children. During the Awake and Buddhism Project Art Shows financed by Rockefeller and other foundations, over 60 Buddhist art exhibits at universities and art museums introduced Buddhist idolatry through the arts. “Museum educators for three west coast museums worked on preparing a “curriculum guide entitled Visual Arts for Meditation to be used by school teachers in lessons about what meditation is, how it is done and why. The vehicle for the lessons will be the arts in service of, or influenced by, a variety of Buddhist contemplative practices.” It will “be geared to ninth-grade students and packaged for humanities educators with a resource book providing further information.” Consortium for the Arts, University of CA Berkeley. Pray that these projects are not accepted into our public schools.

…”Not since the Beatles went to India has meditation had such a moment to bask in the public spotlight-and now it is with the backing of science, the buzz of corporate America and the inclusion of ancient Christian contemplative practices.”

The Word for Christians participating in Buddhist meditation: Deu. 32:6; Jer. 13:15-27; “Do not be proud” (‘Pride precedes captivity). Jer.16:10; Discernment for Christians not be pulled in by syncretism in religious praxis or doctrine.

Dalai Lama has delivered talks about “Neuroscience and Society” basically introducing more Buddhism into the field of neuroscience through Tibetan forms of meditation. Pray that GOD would raise up intelligent voices within the Christian community that will begin a serious dialogue between knowledgeable Christians in the sciences and Buddhists which exposes Tibetan Buddhism for what it is. Deuteronomy 15:1-12; Romans 1:18-24.

It was Maharishi Mahesh Yogi that planned to establish Hinduism in America through Transcendental Meditation. Along comes a new/old religion marketing it again albeit in a different package, Tibetan meditation (Vipassana). It’s all part of the plan to bring Tibetan Buddhism into the West. Beware the leaven.

The Buddhist objective in meditation is to empty one’s mind while seeking union with the cosmos, ultimately buying into the Serpent’s ancient lie, “you shall become as gods.” As Christians, we recognize that we as creatures are never to be confused with becoming the Creator. Rather, we seek communion with God, fellowship, sanctification and a greater understanding of His will for us in this lifetime as it were as we meditate on His Word which is living, active and sharper than a two edged sword. Since we have already been saved through His grace, we don’t meditate to accumulate merit as would a Buddhist. Through contemplation, we focus our mind on His Word and His Works, waiting upon Him and actively listening. Christian meditation takes discipline, but is only fruitful by the grace of God (II Cor.3:5; 9:8). We are not to be like the heathen who practice vain repetitions thinking that we in ourselves can become like God or earn our way to enlightenment.

GOD promised through the seed of Abraham, the line of the Messiah that all the people groups of the earth would be blessed. The Dalai Lama is here to shield the aforementioned peoples from the Gospel of Jesus Christ by settling them in Tibetan enclaves to preserve their culture and religion. GOD has other plans and has brought them to America to hear the Gospel. May we be faithful to proclaim the Good News. Deu.5:7, 18:9. Christians in other countries are beaten for sharing their faith. Thank God for Freedom of Religion in America. Ephesians 1:20-23; Colossians 2:15

Let us hold fast to the promises of God on behalf of these people as priests before our KING JESUS CHRIST that Tibetans, Mongolians, Bhutanese, Buddhists from the Himalayan regions of India, Kashmir, Nepal, Sikkim, would be brought to faith in Jesus and would be worship God in spirit and in truth.

Pray that those individuals and families who have come to faith in Jesus Christ from these groups will be a strong witness for the LORD Jesus Christ in the midst of the gatherings in Washington, DC and Chicago and that they will be on fire for GOD and unmoved by the message of the Dalai Lama. Exodus 4:12; II Chronicles 20:17.

One Tibetan monk from San Francisco fired off a letter to Tricycle, a Buddhist magazine in 1997 called “Dalaiwood” on Hollywood’s mythification of Tibet echoing the new age orientalist’s projection of the superhuman perfect leader while warning others about their blind faith in the Dalai Lama. He basically said, “The Real Tibet is gone, its too late for Hollywood to save Tibet, the Chinese devastation is irreversible..the movies about Tibet are not honest…they purposely create a make-believe reality. We are going to be disappointed in the end, sooner or later.”

Jesus is the Truth, the Light.

Psalm 119:165: Great peace have those who love Your law. And nothing causes them to stumble.”

A word for the Dalai Lama: Psalm 7:3-16; Psalm 2:10-12.

Remember that we are not seeking to build our own kingdom, but seeking that City whose Architect and builder is YHWH. Jeremiah 17:10; Acts 1:24, 15:8. That we are called to seek the welfare of the city we have been called into exile. That we are to pray for our neighbors who may be Buddhists, Moslems, Sikhs, agnostics, atheists, etc.

July 6 Brutal Earth Ritual Being Conducted by Time god, the Dalai Lama in Washington, DC

What is the Earth Ritual?

Before providing an explanation of the Earth Ritual from a Tibetan Buddhist viewpoint, it is imperative to set the record straight from the beginning. What those on the ground in Washington, DC are witnessing is a physical religious rite of possession to establish the Shambhala Empire. It is a well known strategm that before a general fights a battle, he fights it in his mind many times. Like the Olympian who imagines a perfect performance in a gymnastic routine in his or her mind first, the same happens in the Kalachakra ceremony from the Earth Ritual to the very end. It is an elaborate ceremony taking many days and many ceremonies.

After reading the following explanation, it is important to take time to reflect on what exactly is being done. Rather than giving you a Christian orientation or commentary up front on this ceremony, first take the time to read it and then write your own reflection. EARTH RITUAL.

He starts by prostrating himself and invoking their god, Kalachakra. For the next three days, the specially trained lamas (Tibetan Buddhist monks) ritually purify the site. “Monks investigate the ground, measurements are taken,” magic mantras are chanted. “Subsequently, it comes to a highly provocative scene, in which the local spirits and the earth goddess are violently forced to agree with the construction of the mandala.”

“For this purpose one of the lamas takes on the appearance of Vajravega, that is, he visualizes himself as this deity. Vajravega is blue in color, has three necks and 24 hands. As clothing he wears a tigerskin skirt, decorated with snakes and bones. He is considered to be the terrifying emanation of the time god Kalachakra. He can evoke sixty wrathful protective deities from out of his inscrutable heart, who then storm out through his ears, nostrils, eyes, mouth, uretha, anus, and from an opening in the top of his skull. Among these are found zombies, vampires and dakinins with the heads of animals.”

“This monster now drags in the impeding local spirits with iron hooks and, once they have been bound in chains, nails them down in the ten directions with ritual daggers. A further ten wrathful deities are projected into each of these daggers (phurbas). There are indications which must be regarded seriously that in the performance of the Kalachakra rituals it is not just the local spirits, but likewise the earth mother (Srinmo) who embody nailed down victims.”

After the tantra masters demonstration of power, he sits down in the center of the mandala space, faces the East and says , “I shall build on this place a mandala in the manner I have imagined it.” This is his act of territorial occupation.

“The tantra master evokes the terrifying deity, Vajravega, anew, and once again drives potential disruptive spirits out of the mandala grounds. RED ALERT Day Zero “Bowl of Blood Cup of Firey Iniquity”

Woke up this morning in war mode. Anger boiled in my spirit. The Buddhists are doing exactly what they’ve been programmed to do. The Church is AWOL. The Hand of YHWH is justly poised, ready to chasten. It is a day for sackcloth and ashes. Blessed is the NAME above all names.

We’ve warned thoroughly. It is a long written indictment against the soiled and disobedient Church.

A First Nations believer hears from the LORD and writes what she sees. We are in perilous times (see her writing below my signature).
His Word is confirmation. As priests, we enter into sackcloth, mourning. As warriors into the breach. As gatekeepers we fiercely contend for the faith delivered to the remnant saints. Our eyes are like the eagles awaiting the orders of our Commander-in-Chief who rides on a white horse in control of time. Our spiritual ears are open to Master Yeshua’s call.

A pawn in the hand of THE KING of kings, awaiting His next Masterful move.

Cup of Firey Iniquity

I saw over SF a large bowl of blood.

I saw over the eastern seaboard the golden cup full to the brim of iniquity
with a fire on the surface.

I saw an old man in the fields with a huge bundle of sheaves over his
shoulder.
He is the Ancient of Days.
The harvest is being carried in out of the fields.

Fires!
Destruction is coming
Because there is an appointed time for harvest.
Whatsoever a man sows he shall reap.

The harvest of the earth is ripe
With the mystery of iniquity.
The mysteries of the judgments of God,
Mysteries of the kingdom,
Mysteries of the King and the Lamb and the Lion.
The mysteries of Zion the eternal city.
The mysteries of the purposes of God.

I see a huge book with a leather strap around it.
I heard the leather strap snap and open.
I then saw the pages open.
It is an old book ancient ancient old book.
It is an old book.
I see the pages fluttering.
It is upside down.

I see the winds, winds, winds of the spirit.
I see the sins of men.
I see them catalogued.

I see another book.
It is the book of rememberance.
Writing, writing, writing, writing, writing, writing
Words, words, words, words,
Many many words
Words, words, word,
I see words flying all over off the pages,
Flying into the air,
Flying all over the place.

The word manifest;
The prophetic word;
The Word Jesus;
The walking flesh;
The word of flesh;
The word made flesh.

I see the Lord
He has a pen in His hand.
He is tapping the book
When he taps the book the letters fall out onto the floor.

I see a wind coming out of His mouth.
It is blowing the letters all about.
The letters are coming out like in a whirlwind,
Then they turn into fire,
The word of fire,
The word of power,
The word of the spirit.
God spoke.
It is the sword of the Lord
Out of His own mouth.
It is the word of power.

I see another book.
There are two leather straps on it,
Both snap open.
The pages open.
This book is facing up.
Fire comes off the pages.
It is gold all around.
It is an ancient, ancient, ancient book
.

I see the Lord take His finger.
He is tapping it in the middle of the fire.
He is taking His finger.
He is writing with it.
He is writing with His finger.
He is writing, writing, writing, writing
the words.

I see Him looking into a basin.
It is square filled with water.
He washes His face with the water.
He throws water on His face.
The water is dripping all over Him
Down His hair all over His garments
On His face.
It is the word.
It is the sanctifying word.
It is the word of fire.
The word of power.

There is another book.
It has three straps.
He has unloosed the straps with His hand.
He turns the book around and He shows it to the earth.
He shows it to all mankind.

He is not a man that He should lie
Nor the son of man that He should repent.
If He has spoken it
It will come to past.

Confrontation with the Word of God!

He is getting up out of His chair.
He is shaking out His garments.
All this gold falls out of His garments
It’s like gold leaves,
Leaves like on a tree.
It is the leaves of faith and healing.

He turns to Me, puts His fingers on His lips
Says, “Shhh, don’t speak when He says not to speak.
He puts His hand over His mouth.
He says, “When I say speak speak.”

He goes to the door.
He opens the door and says, “Come follow Me.”
He points out the door outside the door.
It is a very rustic door.
Outside is a wilderness, a desert, a high desert.
I see a black raven coming.
It’s death and destruction.
Death is coming over the land.

The shadow of death is going to come over the land.
It will be a desert.
It will be a wilderness.
The fruitful places will be turned into deserts.

Many are going to perish.
They are going around and they think their life will never change.
They don’t know that sudden destruction is coming upon them.
And this is just the way it is.

Coming desolation-wilderness is coming-
And the shadow of death is coming over the land.

I see a whirlwind coming over the desert.
Winds of destruction coming more over the mid-west.
Many people are going to die pretty soon.

Only the Lord saves!
Stand and Deliver.

I see the scroll with a red ribbon and seal.
He hands me the scroll.
The message is for the appointed time.

The foundations of the earth;
The foundations of the universe;
Unusual and terrible.

I see in the sky Holy.
He is writing in the sky “Kadosh” with the finger of God.

I hear the lightning and thunder from heaven.
The judgment is being unleashed on the earth
Because He is a holy God.

He says He is going to uncover more
At the highest levels.
He has been uncovering the puppets at the highest level.
The things done in secret and those cabbals of secret.
He is going to show the Emperors that they have no clothes.

It is the next stage of stripping and shaming.
Naked and ashamed they will be before the whole earth.
What they have conspired in secret behind closed doors
Is going to be opened up even in a greater way.

They will be without shame
Without conscience.
They will be given over to the despicable people they are
Unfeeling, unhuman, without sentiments, or natural affections,
lovers of money, lovers of pleasure, more than lovers of God,

They will take my name upon their lips (that is God’s name)
But what right do they have to take my covenant when they have
broken it? Every word of my covenant has been broken.

Words smooth as butter and inside there hearts are drawn swords,
armaments, and weapons of war.
It will be obvious who these people are.
It will be proclaimed over the whole earth.

Those who have eyes to see will see
And ears to hear will hear.
They will know the Lord is a just and righteous God.
His judgments are pure.

Woe to those who blaspheme His holy name
And speak ungodly things about His holiness
The Lord God of the Universe.
Woe to them!

They are filling up the cups of their own wrath
And it is going to be poured out on their heads.
They were appointed for this destruction.
Woe! Woe! woe! to the inhabitants of the earth.

As the eagle is crying woe! woe! woe!
to the inhabitants of the earth for the judgments
that are about to be unleashed.

Rev 15:   “Great and marvelous are Your works,
   Lord God Almighty!
   Just and true are Your ways,
   O King of the £saints!
4    Who shall not fear You, O Lord, and glorify Your name?
   For You alone are holy.
   For all nations shall come and worship before You,
   For Your judgments have been manifested.”

I see people in the mountains.
I see people going into the desert somewhat
like the hebrews coming out of Egypt.
I sense people being called out and gathered together now.
They are praying.
I see long brass trumpets in the midst of them.
The trumpet for Rosh Hashana, trumpets of judgment.
I hear the trumpets blasting.
It is the sound of war, war, war.

I see the LOrd over the earth as His hand comes
over certain peoples. He is hiding them in groups and in designated
places.

Because of their own lusts they war against each other and kill each other.

I am a righteous God.
I have a destiny for the wicked and their end.
It is a just end.
Who should not fear Me?

I am manifesting my judgments on the earth now.

I hear worship of God in heaven with the thunders of heaven.
I hear them crying out, “How long o Lord?”
I hear the Lord saying, “Not long.”

I heard the Lord say, “I am coming soon now.”
I am the Lord of War.
I heard the war horses in heaven.

I saw the sceptre of the Lord.
I saw the orb of the Lord.
I heard the trumpets blasting again.
The trumpets are blasting releasing the judgments
on the enemies of God.
He is Coming!
His judgments are preparing the way, preparing the way,
For His holiness.
He has eyes of fire.
The Master is coming to take back His vineyard.

Hosea 7: 8    “Ephraim has mixed himself among the peoples;
   Ephraim is a cake unturned.
9    Aliens have devoured his strength,
   But he does not know it;
   Yes, gray hairs are here and there on him,
   Yet he does not know it.
10    And the pride of Israel testifies to his face,
   But they do not return to the Lord their God,
   Nor seek Him for all this.

But I will discipline my rebellious children that have become
full of witchcrafter and idolatry.
I will take a severe rod of discipline to correct them.
They will learn obedience through the things they are to suffer.

I will watch over my word to perform it.

Here is a summary of steps toward moral integrity that have emerged from my study of this literature:

(1) daily consecration and prayer for God to create a pure heart (Ps 51:12 [ET 51:10]);

(2) trusting in God’s keeping power by faith (Prov 3:5-6);

(3)meditation upon the character of God and focusing upon pure thoughts (Ps 16:8; Prov 23:7);

(4) avoiding situations that contain temptations to impurity (Prov 5:8);

(5) constant “watchfulness” (Prov 4:23,26) [NASB]; 8:34;

(6)earnest prayer and claiming of God’s promises (Prov 2:1-6, 16);

(7) dependence upon the abiding influence of the Holy Spirit (Ps 51:13 [ET 51:11];143:10;Prov 1:23);

(8) diligent study and internalizing of the word (Ps 119:9,11; Prov 2:1-13; 6:20-24; 7:2-3);

(9)cultivating a sense of God’s presence and the certainty of future judgment (Ps 139:7; Prov 2:18-19;5:3–4,20-22);

(10)cultivating a sense of the ennobling power of pure thoughts (Prov 22:11);

(11) cultivating intimacy and sexual satisfaction with one’s own spouse (Prov 5:15-19);

and

(12) realizing the cosmic conflict in which the enemy “stalks” victims (Prov 6:26).
